I've been shopping for a new car forever and so far a 2009 335i seems pretty tempting. Before the 2010s arrive BMW is offering some steep discounts of up to $10K off retail for an '09.

I've also just started to like the g37 sedan and fx35, anyone know if infiniti offers much off these 2009s right now? Not sure how infin is to deal with and if anyone knows if they are firm on pricing I'll just skip the hassle.

Thanks in advance.

For the G37 and FX35, are you wanting just base model or do you want nav/tech packages?

Infiniti Interiors are SHIT! I haven't seen a newer model, but the G35s had a horrid interior.

EDIT - I take it back, I just checked their site, the interior no longer has the horrid orange and black back light.

Interiors look much improved.

Unfortunately it's still a crap car - poor power, poor handling, high insurance, stupidly low MPG regardless of how you drive, self-healing clearcoat (from what I've read, this just barely works, and requires special polishing techniques to fix up), very soft paint.

personally, I won't be buying another one ever again.

328 HP for a sedan is pretty good comparing against others like Audi A4, Acura TL, Cadillac CTS, BMW 330i, Benz C-Class

That being said, there is far more to a car than just horsepower ;)

I rented a new g37 with 1200 miles on it in LA last week and the transmission blew on the 2nd day we had it and we were driving it in the city so I wouldn't get that car forsure

The 37x is great for a family car.

Although it is very expensive on gas and insurance, great to move around and very roomy.

just talked to one of the guys from crowfoot bmw and indeed they have 'some' reductions in price

... so, it is worth to take that in consideration, as you will save money on a new car
