Anyone had Dim Sum by themselves??? You're stuck not able to order as many plates, and end up eating 10 times as much cow balls as you should.
Why can't Chinese restaurants make it so that there's like a combo dim sum platter or something???

Usually people who eat dim sum alone are Caucasians....

Not sure if you're in Calgary right now, but T Pot in the NW has a combo dish. Meatball/Shrimp Dumpling and something else.

LOL, a few years ago we were out for dim sum. It was busy and there was a large empty table next to us and they started seating strangers next to each other. These two white guys were sitting next to each other and everyone assumed they were together. Turns out they both dining alone. Chaos ensued when it came to checking off the bill everytime either one of them ordered something.

  This happened to me when I went out to lunch with a friend at Sun Chui Kee, wanted a table for 2 but it was so busy, they only had a table for 8 left, so we sat down, then a party of 4 came and sat at the same table with us, along with another couple of 2......I'm guessing they do this in Hong Kong alot

Yeah, it's pretty normal. We went into one of those tiny restaurants that are everywhere, 6 of us, only 1 big table and there were 2 couples sitting there that didn't know each other. They made each couple move to other tables with people already there.
