Spotted: Rally Car (pics inside)

Spotted a sunfire with no doors on both passenger and driver side and a set of rally fog lights on the roof. Must feel good and breezy to drive without doors.

Yup. As long as the lights above the headlights have covers on them while on the road and he has an unobstructed view from the rearview mirror hes completely legal. There is nothing that states a vehicle on the road has to have doors.

technically it is illegal for jeeps to not have doors so this is illegal too + jeeps are more structurally sound in a crash with out there doors then this lol.

After getting pulled over multiple times in my jeep for other various other things, the laws as best described to me are that a vehicle made with its doors "intended or designed to be removed for on-road use" (eg Jeeps) are acceptable doorless on our roadways.

Not sunfires.

I wouldn't worry about it. J-bodies had like a 1 star NHTSA side impact rating, if you get hit on the side in a J-body death is pretty much guaranteed, doors or no doors. Might as well leave the doors and save weight.

Maybe in a car but not in a Jeep There is big ass sticker on the Jeep that says doors and top are for protection from the elements only and provide no structural support.
