I have been watching this one from the mid-teens. I rarely trade pinks. Still thinking about jumping in before the settlement.

With 4 hours MACD crossed below signal line, an intraday top should be in place at 3.90. Intraday bias in Natural gas is turned neutral for the moment and some consolidations might be seen. Nevertheless, another rise is still in favor as long as 3.321 minor support holds. Above 3.90 will target a test of 4.162 key resistance. Break there will be will be an important signal that natural gas has already bottomed out. However, below 3.321 will argue that rise from 2.409 might have completed and will flip intraday bias back to the downside for retesting this low.

Dinan in regards to your analysis, i think natural gas has no way but to go down now. imo 1$ contango is a big gap and it needs to gap down

ok so the 17th came and went. we will soon find out if cyclist has it right that the dollar was suppose to bottom.

looking at oil, oil made pass 72.90 only to be rejected off 73.3 why? because like I said 73.3-73.5 must hold in order for the 75 top to remain a top. but it has now been revised the higher high to 73.3 may still be corrective. so we are not out of the woods just yet. if the dollar has indeed at the least made A short term bottom. then I expect dollar to begin another wave down the only thing that has me a bit concerning is the stoch is over sold. Therefore again ensure stops are in place above 73.50 if your shorting

http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk118/genmaster/oil091809.jpg

for gold, ever since it broke 991, it was only logical to assume its a matter of time until it test the 1033 resistance. while my expecation was gold will find a top somewhere between 1033-as high as 1189 based on price projection. It does not mean it has to. however while gold remains bullish short term the daily chart has finally put in a bearish candle. And silver is the same. I cant comment if gold has topped out indefiniately, but surely it feels like it has made A top imo. I will now view any upside as divergence and gold requires a good pull back to the 970s level before advancing forward.

http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk118/genmaster/gold091809.jpg

Now onto the dollar if it indeed bottomed on the 17th at 76. I expect it to slowly punch thru all the resistance trend line/fan line what ever you call it and at least test the critical resistance near 78. I will not call dollar has bottomed until we get a clear break above 78. if the dollar is to make it to that level, it should make every other market interesting and we will see how much of an influence it will have, especially on gold

^ interesting it lines up to my expecation as well. as the weekly number I suggested a day ago that NG must close the week below 3.16 is important. hopefully for us NG'er we see a huge pull back this morning, otherwise technically NG has done all the damage it doesnt sit well.

on the plus side though we are now trading 100% nov contract and the price is at about 4.5 which sits a bit better than at 3s if we ought to be holding the bag, so even if NG did bottom for GOOD. I expect the rally to be way over bought and it requires a pretty significant pull back also, at the moment I dont think we want to shoot for a retest of 2.41, but surely a healthy 30% would be in the cards.

after all when the chart rolls over from 3.5 to 4.5, I'll expect NG to fill the gap like all other charts usually do and test the high of 3.90 at the least. hopefully give most of us a bit of an exiting room to reduce our risk

finally NG charts rolled over to nov price.

so far price is being contained from a previous trendline resistance.

with such huge gap, I expect price to fill those gap down to about 3.6 area.

technically, the sharp rise has done alot of damage to the bearish out look on NG. while you can never be sure if 2.41 is the bottom time will tell. and so because of this if we had an alt count early bottom at 2.41, I would be looking for NG to pull back retest the 3.6 or even as much as to 3.00 because of a healthy 38% fibo correction. then we re-evaluate our view. Currently I would give NG as a neutral position with a short term bearish out look because it is quite over bought of late.

as long as it's under 4.57, next support should be around 4.30, if it takes that out it should gap down and fill in the gap to at least 3.80, if not all the way down to 3.60

thats right. I think 3.8 is a very realistic target, and even if NG indeed bottomed at 2.41, I still expect a significant pull back and fill the gap all the way to 3.6 at a bare min

while I was right on the directions, I was wrong in terms of target as my last two calls was overshot way pass my expecation.

called 4.16 to 2.6-2.8 it went to 2.4

called 2.4 to 3.00-3.22 it went to 3.90

hopefully calling it to 3.6 means it will goto 3.00 on first attampt.

what we need is oil to collasp and take out 68 so it can quickly sell off to 63-65 area, then NG will certainly have no where to go but down

good luck to all hnd holders.

anyone bought FSP ?? it would be nice if it gaps up!

maybe not,,,,

Commercial property investor Franklin Street Properties (FSP) priced an offering of 8 million shares at 13 dollars each. The company had previously announced the offering size at 6 million shares, but increased the size of the offering overnight. The company said it would use the proceeds to pay down about 52 million of borrowings previously used to acquire new properties, and would use the remainder for new real estate acquisitions. Shares fell about 11 and a half percent early Friday.

You could have given your broker a call and they would have sold all your shares. I think you should hold them for bit more, don't want you to make the same mistake like I did with HNU :(

Hahaha, I'm still walking funny after that trade, even more so now that it's gone up and could have made some of my money back! :(

last week was pretty scary. as oil tested its critical make or break near 73.32. I said the key area is oil must not break 73.30-73.50 in order for it to maintain a bearish outlook.

oil did just that by touching 73.30, I hope all you folks have shorted in the 72-73 area with a tight stop. Now oil is down to 70s and is looking good that the ABC count and sub wave ii of I is finished. if my count is correct we may have the beginning of a sub wave iii of I which should be quite strong (more than 8 dollars off 73) my expectation is that if the market does sell off along with a rise in the strength in the dollar. then I expect oil to reach as low as 63-65 on first attampt during this run with very minor pull backs.

http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk118/genmaster/oil092109.jpg

and late last week I also mention both gold and silver formed a bearish candle on the daily chart which imo is bearish, and so far this call has been correct. While the projected target for gold suppose to be higher, gold's top could be in early if gold at 972 does not hold. With gold again breaking below 1000 yet again, it appears it is starting to lose steam. I expect gold to test 972 soon which would be a fantastic swing buying point. Again right stop is needed if this area does not hold then gold has topped imo.

http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk118/genmaster/gold092109.jpg

and finally for the dollar, we spotted a descending megaphone setup pattern and it is only a matter of time until it breaks out. while so far price is being contained still this morning, I expect it wont be long for it to break above 77 and to test the important resistance near 78. I dont think we can comfortably say dollar's bottom is in at 76 until it can break above 78 convincingly. until then I still expect it to run up a bit, this should in turn drive gold, oil and euro further down imo. Key support to hold up this rally will be at 76.30, its kinda weak since its only .30 pts away from the bottom at 76. But even if it breaks lower, I expect it wont have much left to drop since we are in the final stages of a sub wave v of V of C. it still extremely near a bottom if it isnt at one yet. So expect any surprise down side as a divergence sell off a great buying opportunity.

Natural gas was lower due to profit taking overnight as it consolidates some of last Friday's rally. Stochastics and the RSI are becoming overbought and are turning neutral to bearish hinting that a short term top might be in or is near.

If October extends this month's rally, the 38% retracement level of this year's decline crossing at 4.082 is the next upside target. Closes below the 20 day moving average crossing at 3.154 would confirm that a short term top has been posted.

Natural gas pivot point for Monday is 3.69

First resistance is last Thursday's high crossing at 3.90
Second resistance is the 38% retracement level at 4.08

First support is the 10 day moving average crossing at 3.32
Second support is the 20 day moving average crossing at 3.15

a bit of NG in my view. Currently while the chart on stockcharts.com has rolled over to the november contract. The 1 dollar contango gap may have skewed the technical view abit confusing.

While I expected november price to fill the gap left from oct all the way down to 3.6 yes I still expect november NG price to come down hard soon and at least hit 3.6

but if you still tract oct all by itself. while currently I would say NG outlook went from extreme bearish to neutral. in order for NG to become bullish longer term, it would require it (oct contract) to break above 4.16 and 4.38. As long as it does not do this. I will say NG still has a good chance to coming down hard again. I just could not see NG breaking out at this time when the dollar is about to rally and oil is about to shit the bed. You can shoot me for being wrong. but what I see on the chart is telling me NG may simply be putting in a flat correction that when completed it will head down once again to complete a 5 wave structure. right now it has only produced a 3 wave structure for its final wave 5 bottom and I dont think I can comfortable call it a bottom until I see a 5 wave structure to the down side.

also remember a while back I suggest wamuq.pk is breaking out? it first touched about 20 cents. fell to 14 cents and now it closed at 0.247 cents friday.

this morning london open has shot to 19 cents which is about 28 cents US. LEt see where this takes us. For those that are following washington mutual, they are near a 1 year anniversry since being bk and sold off to JPM at a very questionable discounted price. its been a lengthy battle as they are suiing fdic/jpm for damages. If they win any sort of settlement. look for common shares to rise sharply.

its a invest only what you can afford to loose.

Same, I know they are there but the balance it reflects w/o the additional shares is unnerving.

im no high roller like some of you guys but for the record I have about 50k shares common at 0.081 cents.

not going to do nothing until at least 1 dollar. then I will save a little for the chance of a settlement between 2-5 dollars

congrads to those who got in to wamuq below 10 cents... I wouldn't want to touch that or AIG or LEHMQ. all speculative plays / big players jacking up the price.

yah AIG is a monster, I have flipped it a few times over the past few weeks.
Shorting AIG is a pure speculative gamble, unless you have a good reason to think it will go down. When AIG moves, it moves (trough to peak) like 10,20,30% in one day. You could get harmed.

obviously if you hadnt got in lower, it only makes it more difficult at these level to buy. at this stage if you still want to invest I would only invest in what you could afford to lose and simply go for the big gap up or news release. if your simply looking for a quick gains I think its way to dangerous at these level as it go easily go both ways imo

ok after oil made a low just under 69. it quickly came back up near 72 most likely due to the falling dollar as dollar is testing its previous support at 76. While it looks as though we've seen this before the same rules still applies, 73.3-73.50 must hold in order to remain bearish. ensure your stops are in place if you've shorted up in this range, if not consider this another chance at the pot

http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk118/genmaster/oil092209.jpg

gold is pretty much doing similar movement, while the nearterm breakdown below a neckline did cause any panic selling, it is back near its previous top. My expecation is still a surging dollar but as long as we dont get that, gold will be lifted. Swing trade for now as stoch is very overbought of late I suspect it would be a safe bet to short it with tight stops above 1023. if 1023 does not hold, next target will be 1033.

http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk118/genmaster/gold092209.jpg

now the dollar, after breaking above the megaphone pattern it did not move as I expected. price has since quickly fallen to retest the previous support at 76 and so far is holding. couple with over sold stoch even if we have a break I would imagine the down side will be limited. look for a sharp reversal pattern and I may label it THE bottom.
