Does anyone here have any insight on (KRI)TSX ??
Looks like she might be consolidating right now... Last I checked there were 17 Mutual funds holding it at these price levels
(IME)VN is going to start driling some kimberlite again in a few weeks too. Insider buying at these low levels. I think it will jump again on drilling news. Even my mom made money on this one.
on another note. Does anyone have some good online or other info they use to find good uranium companies?
Thanks y'all

Its holding up for now but the main upward trendline is broken.

Heres some more info on what IME is up to. This is pure speculation but Teck Cominco is involved and Teck is spending all the money to do the exploration this year. Last year when it was announced Teck was optioned in the stock took off from 0.40 and traded as high as 0.90. OPf course when it was released that the program didnt find anything mine worthy the stock dropped back to 0.40 where it is now.... But they did find some small diamonds
This year Teck is going to spend another 8.5 Million drilling up there. I am no experienced trader like some members here but i think theres a pretty good chance to make a few bucks riding the excitement on the drilling program and maybe even a tiny small little chance that they will find something worthwhile.
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Feb. 26, 2007) - Indicator Minerals Inc. ("IME" or "Indicator") (TSX VENTURE:IME) announced today that Teck Cominco Limited ("Teck Cominco"), which holds an option on its Darby Project in Nunavut, has set a budget of $8.5 million for the 2007 exploration program on the property.
Indicator has been notified by Teck Cominco that the 2007 exploration program will include prospecting, heavy mineral sampling, airborne and ground geophysics and an aggressive drilling campaign. The Darby Project will be operated by Teck Cominco. Indicator's VP of Exploration, David Kelsch and Senior Technical Consultant, Grant Lockhart, will provide technical direction and support for the program.
Work on the project is planned to commence in early May with the collection of more than 16,000 line-kilometres of airborne geophysical data. Approximately 4,000 metres of core drilling is scheduled to begin in mid-May and continue through to September with the goal of testing a minimum of 30 new targets. Heavy mineral sampling and prospecting will also be conducted throughout the summer months on the mineral claims acquired in 2006.
"This promises to be an exciting year of discovery on the Darby Project", says Bruce Counts, President and CEO of Indicator Minerals Inc. "This level of financial commitment demonstrates the partnership's belief that Darby has the potential to deliver a large economic diamond deposit."
The Darby Project includes more than 687,000 acres of mineral claims and is located approximately 120 kilometres southwest of the community of Kugaaruk in Nunavut Territory. The project is currently under option to Teck Cominco, which can earn a 51% interest by spending $14 million over four years. The Hunter Exploration Group has a 20% interest in the project.
The technical content of this news release has been reviewed by Bruce Counts, P. Geoph., a qualified person for the purposes of National Instrument 43-101.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - June 2, 2006) - Indicator Minerals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:IME) announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Teck Cominco Limited whereby Teck Cominco is required to spend $14 million over four years to earn a 51% interest in the diamond rights on Indicator's 80%-owned Darby Property in Nunavut Territory.
Under the terms of the agreement, a joint venture will be formed upon completion of the $14 million commitment with the following terms:
- While Teck Cominco owns at least a 51% interest in the Darby Project, it will be obliged to carry Indicator's remaining 29% share of exploration expenses through to mine production on a project loan basis. Indicator will be required to repay the loan only in the event of cash flow from the Project.
- Teck Cominco will propose a minimum program of $2.5 million per year to advance the Project.
- Indicator will have the right to purchase Teck Cominco's interest, under certain circumstances, if Teck Cominco elects not to develop a mine.
"We are delighted to have Teck Cominco as our partner on the Darby Project," says Bruce Counts, President and CEO of Indicator. "Teck Cominco has the technical and financial capability to advance the program quickly. The level of Teck Cominco's spending commitment demonstrates its belief in the Project's technical merits. In addition, this agreement will allow Indicator to focus its capital on exploring its other projects."
Indicator will operate Darby on behalf of Teck Cominco under a service contract that is renewable annually. The Darby Project includes the diamond rights on more than 400,000 acres of mineral claims and prospecting permits. The property is located approximately 120 km southwest of the hamlet of Kugaaruk in Nunavut Territory. Results from the work conducted to date include the recovery of kimberlite indicator minerals with diamond inclusion chemistry, three distinct kimberlite float trains and more than 30 airborne geophysical targets including the 27.7 acre Iceberg anomaly.
Indicator Minerals Inc. is a Canadian exploration company focused on the discovery of economic diamond deposits. Founded in 2004, the company has assembled one of the most qualified technical teams in worldwide diamond exploration. Indicator is exploring more than six million acres of targeted ground in the Canadian arctic and has two key projects in the Franklin District of Nunavut: Darby and Barrow.
Indicator's management has quickly positioned the company to be a sophisticated player in both Canadian and international diamond exploration by forming strategic partnerships, acquiring highly prospective properties and conducting systematic and efficient exploration programs. Indicator represents an outstanding opportunity for investment in the junior market.

Oil prices settle back after spiking on rumours of Iran attack

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
VIENNA — Oil prices were up more than $1 (U.S.) a barrel Wednesday, easing back after spiking more than $5 a barrel on rumours that Iran had fired a missile at a U.S. ship in the Persian Gulf.
The U.S. military denied the reports. Still, rumours about a military confrontation spurred panic buying in after-hours trading Tuesday, sending oil prices above $68 a barrel in a matter of minutes. Rising tensions between Iran and the West have created a potentially dangerous situation in the Gulf and markets are jumpy.
Prices fell back within a couple hours, although they remained higher than Tuesday's settlement price of $62.93 a barrel.
Light sweet crude for May delivery was up $1.17 at $64.10 a barrel by midday in Europe in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile exchange. Brent crude for May delivery rose $1.19 to $65.79 a barrel on the ICE Futures exchange in London.
“The major concern is that if the rumour had been true, you'd have a major disruption to supply,” said Andrew Harrington, an analyst with ANZ Global Natural Resources in Sydney. “You have about a quarter of the world oil coming through the Straits of Hormuz and any military conflict would severely disrupt those supplies, which obviously sees the price spike.”
The surge indicates the nervousness in markets, he said.
“The political premium had been taken out of the price, and as soon as any signs of new development takes place, they get put back into the price,” Harrington said.
Traders were also awaiting U.S. government oil inventories data due later in the day. The U.S. Energy Department's report is expected to show a gain of 1.1 million barrels in crude oil inventories in week ending March 23, according to analysts surveyed.
Gasoline supplies are expected to decline by an average of 1.8 million barrels, while distillate stocks — which include heating oil and diesel fuel — are expected to dip by 800,000 barrels.
Heating oil futures for April were up nearly three cents to $1.816 a gallon (3.8 litres) on the Nymex, while natural gas prices climbed 7.2 cents to $7.575 per 1,000 cubic feet.
Vienna's PVM Oil Associates noted OPEC forecasts that global crude stocks could grow by around 700,000 barrels a day in the second quarter of this year and said “this would be a far more bullish development” than in 2006 and 2005, when stocks increased by far greater amounts.
Still, concerns about the Middle East were likely to remain the main driver of prices. Tehran continues to hold 15 British sailors it captured on Friday, giving no indications of their whereabouts despite repeated pleas for their release from Britain, the United States and the European Union.
Also, the U.S. kicked off a military training operation in the Persian Gulf on Tuesday that commanders said was meant to send a warning to Iran. The operations are the largest show of U.S. force in the Gulf since the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
“A large part of the oil market, at least in the immediate future, will be very much focused on the events in the Middle East,” Mr. Harrington said. “That will take precedence.”

XKEM news out today:
Xechem's Subsidiary Receives 2nd Phase Loan Approval from NEXIM Bank
Thursday March 29, 4:03 pm ET
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Xechem International, Inc. (OTCBB: XKEM - News) announced today that its subsidiary Xechem Pharmaceuticals Nigeria Ltd. received final approval from the Nigerian Export-Import ("NEXIM") Bank on March 28, 2007 for an additional loan of N350 Million Naira (approximately $2.6 million US Dollars).
Dr. Ramesh C. Pandey, the Chairman and CEO, stated, "The proceeds of this loan, which we expect to receive in the coming days, will allow us to place the ongoing construction of our new full scale manufacturing facility on the highest priority level. We are going to work very closely with our contractors and our partners at the Sheda Science and Technology Complex (SHESTCO) property to facilitate as rapid a completion of the construction as possible."
"We are very grateful to all who have worked so hard to make this happen," Dr. Pandey continued, "and recognize the level of commitment the NEXIM Bank has made to help assure the people of Nigeria and ultimately the world that this important anti-sickling drug, discovered by a Nigerian research team at the National Institute for Research and Development (NIPRD), will be made available to all who need it."
About NICOSAN(TM)
NICOSAN(TM) is an anti-sickling drug originally developed as NIPRISAN by the Nigerian scientists at the National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development (NIPRD). In clinical studies conducted under NIPRD's auspices, the drug has shown to substantially reduce the degree of sickling of the red blood cells of those afflicted with the disease. While not a cure, the clinical trials have confirmed that the large majority of patients taking NICOSAN(TM) no longer experience sickle cell "crises" while on the medication, and even among those whose crises are not eliminated, the number and severity of the crises are substantially reduced. Through quality control/quality assurance (QC/QA) Xechem has standardized and verified the antisickling activity of the product, which is now called as NICOSAN(TM).
After the approval by the regulatory agency of Nigeria, National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), NICOSAN(TM) is being marketed in Nigeria since July 6th, 2007 on a limited basis. NICOSAN(TM) has Orphan Drug Designation in the US and EU countries.
About Xechem
Xechem International is a development stage biopharmaceutical company working on Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), antidiabetic, antimalarial, antibacterial, antifungal, anticancer and antiviral (including AIDS) products from natural sources, including microbial and marine organisms. Its focus is on the development of phyto-pharmaceuticals (natural herbal drugs) and other proprietary technologies, including those used in the treatment of orphan diseases. Xechem's mission is to bring relief to the millions of people who suffer from these diseases. Its recent focus and resources have been directed primarily toward the development and launch of NICOSAN(TM) (to be marketed as HEMOXIN(TM) in the US and Europe). With the Nigerian regulatory approval now in hand, Xechem is now working on the commercialization of the drug in Nigeria and the pursuit of US FDA and European regulatory approval. In addition to NICOSAN(TM), Xechem is also working on another sickle cell compound, 5-HMF, which it has licensed from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU).

Yeah but it's all relative. As long as the volume is there and it's moving, that's all you need :burnout:

Thoughts on NuVista? NVA
Got that tip from a buddy earlier today. Something big might be going down over the next few weeks.

Judging by those prices,
BDO-V - Bordeaux Energy Inc
close today at 0.95
GUL-V - Gulf Shores Resources LTD
close today at 0.74
both has news come out recently. BDO making a comeback!
I bought into BDO today on the volume before the news release came out, i had to raise my bid 5 times before I finally got in at 0.73, and even then it only got partially filled.... I have a feeling I may have jumped the gun a little on this one!
ADA seems to be doing OK too.... :) Bought in the other day @ 1.05....

Both look decent. Good luck

Crystallex (KRY-T) may go on a huge tear when they get the news on environmental approvals in Venezuala, I think some of the political risk has been removed from this one.... It jumped up bigtime when another company got approvals to go ahead yesterday, and then today they announced a big PP. Im thinking after the PP its going to grow some legs. Anyone else follow crystallex?
What are you guys thinking about RSG right now? Saw the CEO bought 100,000 shares on the public market March 27 and its been holding steady around 30 C mark for a few days maybe getting ready for the next run?

Yeah my eye has been on RSG but I might not have funds pending that Sprott Moly IPO. Seems to have support at .28, so I'm thinking even a quick run to mid 30s is good enough for me to take 10-15%

I also have my eyes on RSG. It reminds me alot of the old PLE the way its traded. I've flipped it many times between low to mid 30s, lots of volume. Will probably try to flip some again if it goes back down to 30 cents.
Huge vol on NSM today! > 3.5 mill traded already and the L2 looks pretty good !

Nortel was my pick about 8 weeks ago as they were hitting that run-up. I still like their long-term outlook, but not neccesarily short-term.

Nortel may be bottoming now, but last week I know a lot of traders were short it.

Huge volume and nice move for NSM today. Something must be going on there...core results in the lab I guess so there may be a run up to news.

I knew about it when it was at 30 cents... didn't want to chase... but COT DAYUM!

That GGL moves up and down very fast. 1.2, then 1.40 in minutes, then 1.50, 1.05, 95 within 10 minutes.

Yah I saw that...they discovered nickel apparently. It seems like the company wasnt really doing that well prior to these findings so who knows if that nickel discovery is valid or not.

EQN is awesome. Tons of volume and a superb trend in tact.
When do your warrants expire?

No No, I am asking cuz we are talking about it at work. Will buy on a drop. Guy told us about EQN and CTT on Monday and both went up quite a bit the last two days.

That thing is in for a massive pull back soon. I bet a lot of people are shorting it in the $1.00-$1.20 range. They are going pressure it down.

How did i miss this ginormus thread???
But yes, I agree, GGL popped up on my radar late this morning at the $.55 mark and I didn't act on it as it looked like too bluff at that time and figured that it would pull back down to the $.20-$.30 range within the next couple of days. Little did I know that it would hit a days high of double that!
Watch out for the pull back before the end of the week!
Canmorite

Definitely watching for a pullback (if any) on GGL.

Also, PTU, NOX have been pretty still lately.

the funniest thing about GGL is the volume increase, I haven't seen a stock do that for a while....I watched from .55 and was shocked when the stock doubled again

Sure is...Infact I would get in soon considering news coudl be coming any day. I just bought a few more since its been slowing down steadily....im guessing there is some accumalation going on considering the low volumes lately.
