Plus they're doing a 12:1 reverse split on May 11th, so yay, more room to drop.
Haha so funny I went from Beyond and straight into more reading and found this and then nope'd out hahaha

CYCC, whats going on with this. checked today and i'm up a crazy amount ?
what do we think about a spread on 600/610/650p tsla? Better yet small spread on airlines?
when can we start talking about the great tumble instead of this bull-shit market. I loathe green days.

Reverse split, haha. Account probably hasn't updated yet. 20:1. Should still be up 30% or so?
I've got buy orders ready for tomorrow morning. LETS GO! Green all around. :)

I bought even more Gilead today. Remdesivir is just a bonus, the other drugs in their pipeline is what I’m in for. I bought and sold that suncor a while back. Thought about re-entry but will probably avoid Canadian oil for a little.

A word of caution on Remdesivir. As far as I could research, it can only be applied intravenously requiring hospitalization, each dose is about US1000 and the trials are now on 5 and 10 day doses. It appears to be most effective when delivered at early onset. Most people without health coverage are not going to be able to afford this. Do your own dd as always.

Thanks Feuerstein, dd is new to me when it comes to biotech. I heard buzz words like earnings call and short squeeze and got excited. I usually just trade off media hype and street/fool articles. Is this not how you get rich? Help

Indeed. Thanks for telling me about this one. I told a few co workers about it. They’re happy.
Buy CODX, their Q1 will be released before May 15 and will blow everyone's expectations. Good for long term as well as they are selling COVID-19 test kits to over 50 countries. Do your DD. You won't see current prices again after Q1 release.

There was definitely a coordinated effort to destroy this stock yesterday, probable bear raid and indirect news articles about testing being bad, contracts being cancelled but for another company to confuse people who only look at headlines. It was actually surreal. By the Fall Q2 earnings this thing will be way higher. I bought some yesterday. ABT's testing is half right, CODX is always right and they are in research phase for identifying other strains, European certified and making most of their Q1 money in March, with April and May sales being almost their entire year's revenue lol. 50 countries already have ordered. There is loads of running room here.
Also their conference call about earnings was a fucking disaster. Company says they got hacked, who knows. Sounded like a bunch of high school kids asking about the drive thru at McDicks, pretty funny .
Honestly the more I looked into this company, and after seeing their growth since January, they seem like a winner to get bought out. Their science is robust and I identify with that. As regulations ease, being able to identifying covid carriers is going to be the transition to allowing close contact again. Wouldn't be surprised if schools were allowed to open but everyone has be tested regularly to protect the population. Same with seniors centre.

A very good friend of mine has been talking about some very generous things for us recently as he mentioned something going very well for him in the market.
He opened up a little more about it last night saying he's gone up by over 120% and he had seven figures in the market.
Fuck a duck! It gets better... He's taken the pile of cash from exiting the market in March and made this killing by essentially day trading Tesla!!
I think it's mostly luck, but he's figuring that all the robo-investing algorithms are behaving oddly during such an insane event and he's able to anticipate what the millennial cash players are doing outside of that.
I just hope he stops or has already stopped because he's not young enough to get away with taking a huge whack the other way.

If he had/has seven figures in the market, he must have already been doing something right. In the end, sounds like things are going well for him which is awesome to hear.

I sure hope he doesn't suddenly fancy himself infallible from this. He's far too old to be this reckless, iMO. He's talking about doing something extravagant to celebrate, so hopefully he's happy with this stack.
I wonder if part of his thinking is logical, though (regarding robots).
It seems reasonable that Wealth Simple and whatever else is active in the market would struggle dealing with such a cataclysmic event. But... How much of the money actually in the market is being managed by robots? And, why have such confidence in the decisions of another group during such radical swings?

UCO up 15% today. 'Apparently' demand is increased by a c*nt hair and that is enough to signal a glut reversal? I clearly don't understand this market and open to hearing from more experienced peeps.
Airlines are parking or dumping aircraft, which before were basically flying empty to keep flight schedules. Are factories more-or-less back to operating normal-ish that there is a demand again?
Have no dollars in it since I have zero indication of what I thought would make sense by now.

Chinese Oil Demand Almost Back to Pre-Crisis Levels (6:34 a.m. NY)
China’s oil demand is all but back to levels last seen before the imposition of a national lockdown, according to people with inside knowledge of the country’s energy industry.
China is the world’s second-largest oil consumer, behind the U.S., and the country’s quick turnaround has helped tighten the petroleum market sooner than forecast. West Texas Intermediate crude, which a month ago plunged below zero, surged on Monday above $30 a barrel.
In a remarkable turnaround after Chinese demand dropped by about 20% after the February lockdown, consumption of gasoline and diesel has fully recovered as factories reopen and commuters drive rather than use public transport, these people said.

I think Neogen is a sleeping giant for a couple reasons;
- $3.8Bn market cap and nobody talks about them. Some message boards haven’t posted since 2004
- steady revenue growth for 28 years in a row, relatively steady net profits, strong balance sheet
- solid management team that I believe in
- should be increases in the safety surrounding food processing and handling of animals and should drive growth even further
But what do I know, just throwin darts

Earnings, theoretically, if very positive should encourage investors to buy. Vica-versa for poor earnings. From what I've seen at a high level, it seems to go the opposite way expected or do nothing. Get everyone amped up the week before earnings and then sell the day before. But I'm admitedly very new at this and learning lots.
