If there's a group of similar stonks, and one has recently gone up relative to the group, it's by definition the worst one to buy. For. Short or long term reasons. Stonks or stocks, this works either way.

Question: How is a show like Mad Money allowed to operate - I don't know the ins and outs about market manipulation, but I've noticed every time he mentions a stock, whether its buy or sell, there will be a massive swing in that stock the next day? I assume he isn't specifically allowed to invest in the stocks he mentions? Just interesting.

I'm part of some investor/trading groups on FB, some occasionally throws some stocks that they recommend, I do a couple of days of DD and see if I want to put some money on it.

I rarely execute on tips like these though, 1-2 tips in a quarter and only put a small amount that I'm willing to lose.
