Another day of fun with this, TD still shows the incorrect price but apparently can't fix it. 20 minutes on hold with the options trader going to his manager to discuss the issue and now filed an escalation to have the options voided and refunded and supposed to hear back in a few days. Such stupid BS, wasted probably 10 hours on resolving this now.

Well, finally wrapped this up. TD admitted Webbroker was showing the incorrect security and the resolution person called me and asked what I wanted to resolve this matter. Said my original purchase amount back and she had no hesitation and submitted for it all to be credited back. Apparently I wasn't the only one with this issue. Makes me wonder if I should've asked for more compensation but just happy to get my money back.

A warrant play I've started buying today:

Warrant exercise price is $1.10 and expires February 2023. Current price of stock is $0.77. These warrants are trading at $0.07 today. I don't intend to hold these to exercise or expiration but these seem to be trading too cheap for the stock price. Should be a chance to make 30-50% on these over the next few months.

They do covid testing for private companies. Just went public at the beginning of Mar. Ramping up operations and had $5MM revenues in Feb. Expecting similar or more for Mar and beyond.

Market cap is only $40MM, so should be lots of runway left.

It is going to be a long term hold. Most people bitching about not knowing why Netflix or John Deere is in it and why not all these space SPACs lol. Just buy and let it sit for a couple years. See what happens then. Let Cathie do her thing and execute a long term vision. Lots of critics right now.

April is also usually best performance month for market so you will likely see it trend up a bit due to the name of the holdings in there. If you look at most ARK funds on inception, they usually are stagnant for a couple months before going higher. This may be the same but who thinks they can time the market? That's why I say, if you trust in her, just buy and hold.

Working out capital gains on crypto particularly is impossible. Luckily there is software that ties into the exchanges and wallets and then it works out everything for you. Last year I had a trading bot running with $100 for 2 weeks and it made 80k in trades. I made a $1500 loss though for 2020.

adjustedcostbase.ca is also a good tool. If you are diligent about entering every trade it works great, and has nice import and export capabilities as well.
