Anyone hold RIM long, or trade it? Looks like everyday it goes up $2 from the day before, then down $2, vice versa. Therefore the $4-6 difference through out the day can yield a couple hundred bucks a day depending # of shares you have. % change is not high, but it's pretty regular/consistent.

With big $ movers like that, your stops need to be wider and your size needs to be smaller. They can whipsaw a lot, and it takes your stomach for a ride.

Wow this is quite some suspense. I have emailed IR. Usually they email right back, so this leads me to believe that they have everything back and are awaiting their NR to be finished and than sent. Could also be currently in the works to hault this stock as well.

Or waiting for the US to announce int% cuts this afternoon and than announce too!

lol heck yeah, i went through it in 2000. I knew the companies i was trading were nothing but shells but money is money and in the short term, percieved worth is much more meaningful than actual fundemental worth.

If it goes south, hmm hold for couple months for the next set of results.

If it goes to $1 then I am getting girlfriends something.

I know I know... on the brightside (if the news is good), the delays gave me an opportunity to quadruple up my position in CMX.

What's everyone's exit strategy for when the NR comes out? For me, if the news is bad, I'll likely put a market order in to sell half my position and reassess from there. If the news is good, I'll probably hold until atleast the next day and close part of my position.

I use Trade Freedom as well. Just view your positions. The last price in there should be the real time quote.

I've made some poor investments in the last year, so when I bought CMX this time, me, buying the smart guy, said "Hey, I'll put a stop loss!". Hmm... 24 cents seemed like a good trigger to me.

2 days after I buy it, it closed at .25, and it dipped at .24. So Of course, It sold. I sighed, and moved on.



.38 cents today..... anyone seen my razor blades?

We've all have days/weeks like that. Up until today.... my last 6 weeks had been brutal.... with losses decemating my portfolio by almost 25%. Because of this I only took a very small position in CMX.

I bought Bronco Energy (BCF) @ around $2.50 and sold when it was around $3.00. It's now over $11 a share, so I know the feeling... :(

A long time ago I almost bought Wilan @ 1.50 right before it went up to $87. I bought the other choice which well lets not go there.

So I'm up on those ones. My others are in at .26 and .285.

I'd really like this thing to run way up, I have so much loss this year it's crazy. If I can recover even a small portion of it, I'd be pretty happy. I think I've lost 35k this year in the market. Ugh.
