I'm wondering how you are feeling having lost more than twice as much? You took a $20,000.00 hit. Got a gun?
its only a paper loss haha we dont need any threads relating to death linked to the "good investments" thread so keep it down!

I don't quite understand why the price dropped on results that say best hole they've ever drilled. But, either way, it'll be very interesting to see what happens by day end.

You're probably looking at your 'Holdings' section. This is usually the price of the previous close. Try getting a 'quick quote' or using the 'Portfolios' section and you will get a real time quote.

Probably retards who haven't actually taken the time to work out a $$/ton of the latest NR to see that it actually is quite feasible.....or it's manipulators taking advantage of the typical weak bid support this one usually opens with to scare some of the nervous nellies.
What are you calculations for $/ton? I am seeing like $24/ton on the high side.

I have a simple rule when it comes to Oil & Gas stocks. If their office is based in Vancouver don't buy it. 95% of the time it's a scam. There is money to be made in these but most likely you'll get screwed.

Is anyone here very familiar with O&G valuation? I'm just working through some valuations and was wondering what the triggers are that really affect Depletion & Accretion for junior O&G's? I don't work in O&G, but I expected the cost to be fairly static on a Per BOE level for all juniors.... but that doesn't seem to be the case. I'm seeing some at 40%, and others all the way up to 52% as a percentage of Revenue.

I bought GCN this morning at open, and got out for a small loss when it fell apart. I left the office for 15 minutes and came back to see it's run since then! What can you do? haha.
be careful if you're looking to buy in now. That interval is only over 1m. It's being pumped pretty hard too. Definately a flavor of the day.
Well, when I saw it, it was up about 60%, then it came back down again to be about 0.07+. I though the run was over. I checked back a few minutes later and the thing takes off and is up .19 cents now.
I dumped some CMX as well, still have about 10K shares left. I'll need to flip some stocks here and there. I just used my profit from SRU to buy CMX, so that's all I lost. Still sucks though.

You never know. A couple good results and PR will get it back up.
We have to be optimistic. The market in general is tough now. Even when news is good price can still go down. But we have to be optimistic. If you go in a game thinking you will lose, chances are you will. Not saying if we think about good things, it will happen but it helps.
I have a few stocks that are down big. I have faith that company will have good results, statements etc. Just a matter of the need of holding a while longer. True some might go kaput like Tahera but I want to believe.
