SNO is the next diamond play. Count comes back Feb 4. So around that time, or so. They release news. If they hit diamonds, very good chance they do...its at least a 3 bagger like STA, DDN and NNA were!

Ive been holding SNO for about a year now.... i bought in at 17 cents if i remember correctly. it could be a big one it was up to around 40 cents at one point but i never sold which was dumb.

GNZ out with massive oil news. IMO, this stock should be between $1-3 based on oil reserves and 100% owned I believe.

My two big holders are GNZ and SNO.

Anyone have any suggestions on good Medium-Low Risk TD Mutual Funds. I'm putting some $$ into RRSP's this week since MF are taking a beating and funds are cheap but was wondering if anyone who is with TD has any suggestions as to what Mutual Funds are cheap and worth considering.

I will of course be asking my advisor the same question but thought a little more info can't hurt.

It is shale oil, now if it was conventional oil $1 would be easy. They did not specify the economics of actually extracting the oil. Do they even have the technology to extract shale oil? also will it comply with gov't regulations?

If you do ANY research what so ever, you can quickly google many places that drill oil from shale oil reserves. Shale is the cap rock that is holding the reserve. That is all.

Z, the thing is it could go both ways. People see the news here as quite good. With GRW and CMX some of us lost lot. With this one it could have sold off after the news but didn't. Can always 2nd guess yourself. I looked at it when it was .275 and ended up getting in at 0.43.

Will see if I can get some tomorrow, but price is quite higher now.

There is no current production from shale reserves in North America though. Due to the cost of course, but also environmental regulations.

SNO is up 13% today. It's sitting at 0.34.

I bought 10000 shares of it yesterday at 0.29. Just so I had some. LOL.

VMS out with news. Bought in again at 0.85. The news shows solid 1% copper over a nice length. Plus a few more holes pending.

This is where it gets interesting, they are holding a public conference tomorrow. Gut feeling is that they are bringing the big money up to speed. Some very good volume this morning. Possible news leak, coupled with NR.

I was going to buy Taser at $8 last week but while i was waiting for my account to get funded, now it's over $11 and that was a sure thing. It's a real stock with a real product. These pennies are just too iffy.

Just sold my SNO.

I made the decision to sell my losing IQW shares and put them into SNO. Didn't have many, but basically bought 9000 more SNO shares at 0.37 and was worried. Well, not anymore. LOL. Already made up the losses on IQW and ofcourse I have the 10000 shares I had from yesterday at 0.29.

Wish I had the money to toss at these things that Rat does. Jealous much? Ofcourse!

I just got stopped out. But it went down so fast, it didn't sell all of my stock at my stop loss number! It sold 16000 shares at 0.475 and then I had to do a market sell for the last 3000 shares at 0.45.

I'm out.

Made a nice $2,720.00 on that stock since yesterday. I can live with that. Just gotta keep doing that shit. Ofcourse, now it will go WAY UP since I am out.

Ok, so maybe someone can explain this to me. I had a stop loss in at .375 and the price dropped below that, but did not sell, and then suddenly it's trading above my stop.

So, I guess stop losses don't show up on L2 quotes until they are triggered? And I guess the price changed so fast that not enough shares were traded at .375 to allow my shares to sell?? Is that what goes on here??

Yeah, just noticed CMX. Bought 20000 shares of it the other day at .12 and got worried this morning when it dropped to .10 or something like that. Just bailed on that one now. Made some cash there, so I'm happy. That one owes me so much it is not even funny. Fuck CMX.

I'm holding 10000 shares of SNO and that is it. Very small position. But basically bought it at .29 and sold it at .475 and bought it again at .40. So I think that means my 10000 shares have an average cost of... 0.03 / share.

So I can hold it for a while LOL
