LOL...you guys are funny.

I'm happy some of you were able to make some money off my tips.

Here is one I just got word of this morning.

TEI.V Tango Energy

Apparently they are in the middle of a drililng program and if it turns out to be a success, it could push them over the $2 mark.

Please do your own due diligence on this one.

I don't think there are alot of companies that could be bought out that currently have projects in the works. I'm guessing the top 3 candidates are UTS, SYN, or CLL.

dont forget about PBG...

Up goes SPX im hanging on for a little longer

BLE still coming through for me...i sold but i bought in again so im finally making my profit again on it

i couldve tripled my money if i wouldve hung on from the beginning but ohh well

Only other thing i suggest is buying into DEN(Denison Mines) Going down for the last few days and i see it as a huge buying opportunity. I think i might load up on some more.

Doesnt look to bad...if your trying to make a couple hundred quickly and you know when to buy and sell it could work out for you.
But one thing i noticed is the volume its pretty low so buying and selling would be pretty tought especially when you think you might be able to turn a profit.

Pretty good penny stock however just by looking at the chart as it does jump up and down every couple days so if you can buy low and sell high you can make a couple hundred every week.

Dont know anything about the company but it would be a good idea to do a bit of research on the company to see if they have potential of growth

Yeah that's what I'm worried about.. the volume on this stock is next to none, so I'd have to monitor it really tightly if I was going to make something out of it.. We'll see how it goes on Monday.. but I don't think I'll put anything into it..

i wouldnt recommend it...theres other stocks out there that can give you great returns
SPX is performing really well....still a penny stock but i see the potential of it hitting the dollar amounts soon

plus if everyone is trying to do the same thing as you then when the price goes up everyone will be selling so youll end up in an endless loop which gets you no return or maybe even a red balance on the investment.

I missed the boat already on the initial investment in SPX.. but after doing some research on it, it seems to me that it still has a lot of potential.. it's doesn't seem to be hitting the floor price in January and the outlook seems good..

from what I know.. Warrants are like options.. except they're guaranteed from the company.. where options you have the "option" to exercise and is not issued by the company.

Well with the whole slashing jobs/union deal I probably wouldn't buy the stock strictly because of that.. just glancing at the stock chart I don't see it improving anytime soon.. if I was to make a decision right now I would short it, or just wait it out until it drops lower..

nice PR with some good drill results...nice 40% return in one day...im still hanging on tho they are predicting a target of 3.63 then after that somewhere up in the 5 dollar range.

Also ill say it again DEN great buy...even better than before as its down another 36 cents

CNQ on the TSX is always a safe bet. The price is currently at around $73, but the stock has had 144% growth year over year for the past 3 years. It's almost a sure thing...

djayz
02-06-2006, 09:49 AM
yah theres lots of stocks like that as well as mutual funds

most of the ones that are in the higher price range are more stable so if you have 20000 grand sitting around and 3 years to wait by all means invest away i know i definately would.

but for the rest of us who started out with 5000 or even have the 20000 penny stocks is what we thrive on cuz you can make 50% returns in a couple days but the only downside is the risk which comes with any investment.

but yah cnq is nice i hope youve made your money on it

A warrant allows a shareholder to purchase additional stocks at a specified price. Lets say a BLE.WT gives the shareholder the option of exercising that warrant to purchase an additional BLE stock. an example below.

warrant = you'll need 1 share of BLE + $2.75 to purchase another BLE share.

when the warrants are issued, shareholders have a deadline to exercise that warrant.

roopi some nice picks there..wish i had some extra cash to add to my portfolio

and godfauder excellent return on ble...if i had 5000 i would pull out and be happy with my close to 8gs.

for the rest i believe ble still has a lot more to go...currently i only hold 500 shares therefore im keeping it. If i had anymore i would prolly sell the majority of my shares and keep 500-1000 shares and let them earn there way up to the $5 BLE days

another good one is AUA with is molybdenum as well its a junior company which is said to be better than BLE cuz there is no sulphides in there findings. They just had a nice return yesterday because a fund just bought their shares and it has the potential to be a takeover target...but i think the same for BLE

LOL, on my watch list of over 80+ stocks, only 11 are green. I have no regrets. A couple points on a large-cap isn't going to make/break an investment. We ended the day near the daily low, which is lower than the lows of the past 5 days. I want to see what kind of momentum the day starts off with tomorrow. I think we'll get another large dip in march-april area.

I dunno, I am still waiting. It could drop more because the price of Natural Gas is half of what it was in December. Both ECA and CNQ will be good long term buys soon.

ECA releases its 4th quarter earnings on Wednesday, if they are positive, it should jump up again... how much is anyones guess. If they are negative, I can see ECA at $40 mid week next week.

Wow, the TSX tested support a couple of times today. Kinda made me nervous! I'm quite iffy on ECAs numbers being spectacular in the eyes of investors. Wait & See....

Decline continues ...didnt think it would be this much of a correction for the tsx but some things were hit harder today than 2 days ago when we thought that was the one and only major correction.

Altezza i appologize haha you were right about waiting. Im glad i had no money otherwise i wouldve bought something and would be regretting it right now.

anywho BLE went up so im happy :)

another good buy is IPT since its lower now

hey djayz.. question for you.. why would you consider IPT a good buy?

I think we need an investment forum for tips, speculations, etc.. :dunno:

IPT is a good buy..has gone down quite a bit in the last little while

its silver which is a hot commodity which trails gold
umm..not on my comp by i have some research of the company too. Good track record i can tell you that...junior company which is up and coming so its in the dark right now but when the lights turn on volume comes in as well as price drives it up.

Check out their website and do a little research to me it seems like a good company and it was mentioned as the silver company of the week just last week on a silver site i believe silverinvestor.com

Not sure how many are in it for a quick buck, but for those interested in a long term hold (probably 6 months), take a look at BNT.. I will admit that I do have shares in this stock..

I think it'll hit 1 dollar by July/August..

There's an IPO for an oilsands fund if you're a TD Waterhouse Member.. maybe something to consider, but I think I'll stick with individuals like PetroCan and Encana..

you can get oilsands income trust fund shares at alot of investment firms. $10.00/share. not too bad at all.

Scotia Mcleod is fairly cheap...28.95 flat for almost any trade. I havent yet hit where the price changes and i've traded 5000 shares, and have had estimates for 15000 shares and the price is still $29

Interactive Brokers. Typically $2 a trade (but varies based on value).

At what price, and why? I'm not going to buy it.. but definitely interested to know why you'd consider it a buy since you've had some pretty good hits in the past
