hey guys, just a suggestion. maybe on the first page of this thread we could have like a summary of all the stocks/funds mentioned, and maybe who mentioned them, the date etc. the reason i say this is because sometimes when researching a stock, i wonder if its been mentioned on this thread, but am too lazy to search through 21 pages lol. what do you guys think? plus there are some people such as djayz and 89coupe who are a lot more active in mentioning stocks, so maybe one of them?

What good is it to gather a list of tips that have already expired? Its all about timing. Something that was posted last month or last year will have no impact today.

Don't get me started on BCF. My stress level is going up as fast as that stock.
I was going to buy it at IPO, but couldn't get it in time even though I phoned several times. BUMMER.
Then I was going to buy it at $1.60, but on that very day it jumped and so I balked.
Even this morning, before I went out, I was like, fuck, I should just buy 1000 shares and see what happens. It was only just over $3 at the time. Well, if I would have done that, I would have made almost 1500 bucks this afternoon.
Meanwhile, the stocks I bought went down. Mutha F.cka.
Thus, I am still super super super broke. Oh well...

ZFan, I have two more very HOT IPO's coming up here. The one I guarantee most will not be able to get on just for the simple fact you need to make 300K or more a year or have a million in liquid assets to setup an account with First Energy but you can get it the moment it comes to market.
Watch for my post on my boards ;)

Keep watching BCF. The reason it keeps going is because it is undervalued.
As soon as they can prove the estimated 600 million barrels this will really move.
Also they haven't released their percentage in this project. I'm guessing it's going to be about 80% which would also make it move.
Still holding everything from $1.16.

LOL...are you retarded? They have zero production and zero assets.
This move is strictly hype. The oil sands aren't even proven yet, they don't even have any money raised yet to put towards development.

Listen I'm not going to start arguing with you about this. I've researched this company quite a bit. I've dug up as much imformation available on this company and I've spoken with management. I like what I found and heard therefore I'm still holding all the shares I originally purchased. I will be selling a portion of them to get my original investment out but I still think this will go even higher and that's why I'm not selling all. I might be right and I might be wrong. From my research I think I can still make a few more dollars.
So you want me to base the valuation of the company on their prospectus from Oct. 27/05? You do realize that companies do actually change after they IPO don't you? Maybe they didn't have any production then but guess what they do now. Did you bother reading any of the news?

Well if you knew how silly your comments were you wouldn't say such things.
Its obvious you know nothing about the Oil & Gas Industry.
Just so you know, any well that is to be drilled by a company must be licensed with the EUB and becomes public knowledge after 3 months. That is even before they start drilling. After a well is drilled, all production must be made public immediately. The only thing that is kept confidential for one year is the well logs.
To make such a silly statement like, 'how do you know if they have production or not is a clear indication to me that you have zero knowledge about Bronco or any other Oil & Gas company for that matter.
You can bullshit your friends and I can my bullshit mine, but don't come onto a public board and make bullshit comments. It just makes you look bad.

Bronco Makes Strategic Acquisition for Bronco/Bigstone Project
CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - March 23, 2006) - Bronco Energy Ltd. ("Bronco") (TSX VENTURE:BCF) announces that it has executed a Letter of Intent to acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of Reel Technologies Corporation ("Reel") in consideration for the issuance of a maximum of 1,565,582 Bronco Common Shares and the payment of $855,000 to Reel shareholders. The proposed acquisition is subject to a number of conditions including the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
Reel is a privately owned company that owns and operates Reel Drilling Corp. and Reel Pumping Services. Reel's assets include 3 drilling rigs, 2 cement pumping units, 3 cement bulker trailers and 5 oilfield tractor trucks. Single Rigs #1 and #2 are contracted to the end of 2006. Rig #3 is being modified into a Super Single, and custom designed to drill 1800 meter horizontal wells on Bronco's previously announced Bigstone Joint Venture lands. Reel will continue to operate independently as a wholly owned subsidiary of Bronco and will drill all of Bronco's wells. Reel's operation will occupy a minimal amount of Bronco's management time so that Bronco may remain focused on building its oil and gas operations. Reel's management, led by President Mr. Art Brotzell, is an essential element to the acquisition. Mr. Brotzell and Reel's key personnel will seamlessly carry on with the drilling business. Bronco's operations manager, Mr. Ken Ross, with 40 years of worldwide experience, will also be working closely with Mr. Brotzell on the management of Bronco's aggressive drilling program.
There are several strategic advantages to this acquisition, the most prominent of which is the elimination of risks associated with rig availability and capital cost escalation. Bronco will be able to drill more wells at a rapid pace and at reduced costs. Currently, it is expected that well development costs, including drilling, rig moving, trucking, and cementing, could be reduced by up to 40% per well.
Bronco President and CEO Mr. Brian Alford stated: "Bronco is delighted to welcome Mr. Art Brotzell, and his skilled team from Reel to our growing organization. Bronco will be immediately strengthened by additional positive cash flow, faster generation of revenue from new Bronco wells and the reduction of capital expenses. This acquisition will allow for the efficient execution of Bronco's major oil sands development on the Bigstone Reserve and in other areas".
Bronco Energy Ltd. trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "BCF".
This news release contains forward-looking statements which involve known and unknown risks, delays and uncertainties not under the Corporation's control which may cause actual results, performance or achievements of the Corporation to be materially different from the results, performance or expectations implied by these forward-looking statements.
The TSX Venture exchange has not reviewed and does not accept responsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this release.

No information when it will be out. All I know regarding this is the same as the news release that it is underway.
Traders are problably loving the volatility in this one. Well I'm off to Cuba in the morning hopefully BCF is still around when I get back.
If anyone is looking for a long term investment (RSP) take a look at Clearwater Seafoods CLR.UN. This took a big hit when they ended distributions last year but they will be starting them up again this year (listen to the last conference call). Yield is 11% and when they announce the reinstatement of the distributions you can expect the price to increase as well.
I'm saying a minimum 30% gain by the end of 2006. I just picked some up yesterday at $3.95.

I don't see where you got almost 150% from.
Even at day high of $38, that's only a 40% increase from the $27ipo price.

He's new to this. He was asking about the difference between the tsx and the venture. And why share prices were differnt on the tsx and NYSE for the same company.
I don't know how you extrapolate that from this:

i think denison has hit rock bottom as has purepoint
both great buys in the uranium market
cxx is doing quite well too...holding on to all these for a long time so hopefully they come out on top.
but analysts and many investors including myself feel that Denison is greatly undervalued compared to its competitors who are above the $17 mark. so at just under $14 denisons a steal...im buying more.
btw anybody buy tim hortons today?

still kicking myself for selling SLW at 8.35ish. I wonder if I should re-enter. Seems like a good company to ride.

yah ive got some SLW its doing awesome and i think it has alot of catching up and overtaking to do compared to SVM which had a huge run up
IPT and SLW are my top silver picks both doing well and have so much potential specially as the price of silver rises day by day

The technicals for IPT looks promising. I'll have to research more later tonight. Was there any word on what the $8 million private placement was for?

Its all good... Still has a long ways to go and with silver prices sky rocketing i dont see any silver company's stock price going down even if it isnt a good company short term.
IPT is a long term hold..sure you can turn a quick profit but i can see 4+ dollars on it.
DEN is on the move again which is nice to see...hopefully it continues

I have a conservative profile, so I turn around stocks in a short time span to lock in smaller gains. I play on momentum, so I probably won't hang around for the $4.
DEN scares me.

Good pick but pricey is western silver corp. Has doubled this year alone but has so much more to go with silver prices rising the way they are.
Not sure if i mentioned Westaim before but they seem to have things going there way now.
