Pictures probably took 10 minutes to post but that work probably took 20 hours. Many people don't realize. Great job, looks good.
I also noticed you have a JDM cluster (or white faced gauges). If it's the JDM do you have a low gas light?

i think my ecu is toasted??
if i try to start the car it just clicks and doesnt start :dunno:
and if i remove the + terminal of the battery (which resets the ecu) it starts right away (even changed the terminal)
then it runs fine but after i shut it off and go to start it again it wont start?:werd:
J@Tuner
08-26-2009, 01:36 PM
Just clicking is possibly your battery, try throwing a charger/booster on it and try again. If you have a voltmeter check the reading of your battery voltage. Once you have figured out if you battery is dead or near dead or perfect, check your alternator wiring/alternator and ensure that it is charging the battery when you have the car running.
streethondas
08-26-2009, 01:55 PM
i know its not the battery because i started the car after 4days and started right away (1 day before the problem)
Revhard
08-26-2009, 02:07 PM
Intermittent no-starts can be the connection between the battery and terminals. They can be very corroded, bad connections, etc.
I have seen similar before. You check everything obvious first, then you are hunting. Clean connections, etc and it goes away.
Just a shot.

If none of that stuff mentioned above does anything make sure the main relay worls properly, it should click when the check engine light goes off after turning the key to acc.

try finding them on ebay right now.....its damn near impossible. Ive tried this method already.....
only way to go is to buy gsr rotors and have them redrilled for 4x114.3
I love 96 ITR wheels though. Dont think I will ever go to any other wheel. It seems like it weighs 10lbs with the tires on it.

it cost about $900 (welding cost400) and then the body filler primer was someone else who did it

we have ITRs here but they are 5 lug as they started in 97 if im not mistaken.
People redrill their rotors all the time. Just have a good machine shop do it and you should be ok. Just dont buy those taiwan or china made rotors and you should be ok.

im getting brembo drilled rotors so i think im good lol

Good looking project, good to see it coming along.
For you guys looking for rotors, try fastbrakes.com ... That guy gets brembo blanks and redrills them all the time, reasonable pricing too... I know he does lots of other applications, I would imagine he has rotors for the ITR 4x114 conversion.

09-30-2009, 08:59 AM
if youre putting on a rear sway bar and plan to tackle some corners i would brace the subframe to avoid failure.not necessarily the ASR just some sort of reinforcement there's a few out there some less intense. depending on how beefy your sway bar is and the style of driving it is possible to tear your subframe. the integras are a bit more reinforced than the civic subframe, or at least i know the TypeR subframe is. Integra rear sway bars fit EG's and depending on the aftermarket control arms you should bolt up fine.
My setup is:
ASR subframe brace
TypeR 23mm sway bar
TypeR endlinks
Skunk2 LCAs
tried Blox endlinks first but it was a pain finding the right bolts to mate between the sway bar and LCAs also its nice to find LCAs with variable mounting positions for the endlinks

Lol keep dreaming the only reason my car is up for sale is because my parents are on my ass about saving money for school. And because of the price i have it at i dont expect her to sell hence parting will be minimal that way i can bring her back out next year :D

streethondas
10-05-2009, 10:37 PM
but the stock end links......i have a feeling that they wont reach my megan lower control arms :dunno:
Sparx
10-06-2009, 06:32 AM
They should reach just fine my stock ones line up with my skunk 2 lca's without an issue, but then again skunk 2s have more than one spot u can put the endlinks.
Mr_ET
10-06-2009, 08:06 AM
Skunk2 also locates them in the right spot where as megan doesn't
I've been able to do it before on eg's with those lca's but it takes some serious persuasion and I'm not sure the bar flexes as it should after...

The Megan has it lower then stock lcas so I need after marker end links
