Stat 217

So I'm just wondering, those of you that have taken stats 217, did you use the textbook at all? I remember in 213 I barely touched the textbook and still got through the class alright.

Depends on the teacher teaching...but 213 I didn't really, 217 I did use it alot more. Also depends whether they base quizzes/exams/etc off only their class/blackboard notes or text examples too etc.

well it depends on your teacher exactly. but most stats 217 will give you notes and they'll based their quizzes on the notes and their sample problems. I had Mr. Labute for 217 and we didn't even touch the textbook, it was all from his notes.

Who is the prof you're taking 217 with?
