Alpine IVA-D900 ($2300 USD retail)
The IVA-D900 is one of the first head units on the market that offers an LCD screen, MP3, and DVD/CD. The 7" pop out screen that this model uses is light years ahead of all the other players on the market. The LCD is clear and bright. Alpine has a bus called Ai-Net. This bus allows the head unit to connect to and control any other Alpine equipment in the car. Simply put, this head unit will be able to control the Processor, Changer, and XM Receiver. We will utilize the optical out of the head unit to connect it to the sound processor.

Alpine PXA-H700 Digital Signal Processor ($850 USD Retail)

Alpine's PXA-H700 Multimedia Manager is designed for three application targets. With any stereo source, the PXA-H700 delivers state-of-the-art vehicle sound tuning with 1/3 octave equalization, digital crossover and digital time alignment. For mobile multimedia systems with DVD, the PXA-H700 delivers high-performance 5.1 surround multichannel decoding in Dolby Digital 5.1, Dolby Pro Logic II and DTS formats. The PXA-H700 is also a system component that bridges the gap from 2-channel stereo to multichannel sound field reproduction with its on-board Dolby Pro Logic II decoding.

The PXA-H700 features 8-channel digital time correction to precisely align all speakers for maximum sound imaging; a digital equalizer that offers up to 165 bands of 1/3 octave equalization or 27 bands of parametric equalization; and an 8-channel digital crossover with variable slope adjustment and crossover points to deliver phase-shift free performance for any multiple amplifier system. In addition, the PXA-H700 features Alpine's own Media Xpander sound correction technology for enhanced audio quality from compressed media formats.
Two Alpine TME-M580 5.8 in Headrest Monitors ($400 USD Retail Each)

Alpine SHS-N252 Consumer Wireless Headphones ($160 USD Retail)

Alpine's SHS-N252 dual source wireless headphone system offers your passengers the ultimate in performance, convenience, and versatility. Its infrared transmitter accepts audio output from two different audio/video sources, so two people can listen to separate audio tracks on the wireless headphones — without the hassle of tangled headphone wires.
Each headphone unit features an A/B source selector switch and volume control, so each user can choose an audio source and independently adjust the volume level. Automatic level control clamps down on unexpected loud noises in the headphones, protecting the wearer's ears

Alpine KCA-420i Ipod Interface ($100 USD Retail)

Forget about fumbling around with your iPod controls to change songs or albums while driving. Now, you can connect your iPod to a compatible 2004 Alpine in-dash receiver with Ai-Net connections (see below), and control all the functions right from the receiver! (Note: the adapter is compatible with all iPod and iPod mini models equipped with a dock connector and iPod software update 2004-04-28, or higher. )

The KCA-420i package includes a compact adapter module and two cables. Mount the adapter module in a hidden location in your vehicle, then connect one cable from the module to your Alpine receiver, and the second cable from the module to your iPod. Once connected, you can control virtually all iPod playback functions from your compatible Alpine receiver, including search (playlist, artist, album), track preview, and shuffle play (playlist, all tracks).

Alpine's Quick Search keys offer quick and easy navigation through your iPod's music menu, and you can set your receiver's Bass Engine controls to maximize the sound quality of your iPod tunes. And, best of all, the KCA-420i module automatically charges your iPod's internal battery as you drive.

Alpine SBS-0715 enter Channel ($200 USD Retail)

Nothing sharpens up the imaging in a multi-channel car audio system like a center channel speaker. But how to power it, and where to put it?

Alpine has solved those problems with the SBS-0715. This handy little package includes a 2-3/4" full-range speaker mounted into a handsome black enclosure that will fit attractively onto your dash. The system includes a compact amplifier (20 watt RMS) that's small enough to tuck away out of sight.

So if you're making the investment in multi-channel car sound for movies and music, don't fret about the center channel — the SPS-0715 will get the job done!
Alpine DHA-S680 6-Disc CD/DVD Changer ($1300 USD Retail)
