Any registry offices that take credit cards as payment?

It's not an issue, just looking for one that takes credit cards, as I like paying for everything using my credit card

I'm not an idiot, I know why YOU want to use a credit card. I however was referring to WHY it is not accepted at most registry's when it's such a widely accepted and common form of payment.

I would assume it has something to do with the collection of fines on behalf of the provincial government,etc ... but I am not really 100% sure why registries are like that.

The problem is that the government dictates what they can charge and the registry offices don't take credit cards because they don't want to pay the surcharges that Visa and Mastercard charge them as it comes directly off their bottom line.

Some registry offices even charge you extra for using debit as well.
