Ya, for a few hours it was so crappy that the web servers were pegged queueing up requests. Problem was some hardware on the database side, for which we have a temporary fix in place, which should at least bring performance back up to normal for the weekend.

We'll have a more robust solution by Monday.

Sorry for the inconvienence. Frickin' hardware!
