If I had to fight in a war, first choice would be fighter pilot. Obviously.

It's fairly likely you wouldn't stand a chance getting into the program
But i agree.. that would be the premo position hahaha. Or like the guy who shoots that big ass canon from the big ass airplane wayyyyyy up in the sky.. Anyone know what i mean?

Edit: The AC-310 Spectre hahaaa that would be sick.

I'm guessing the jet is equipped with a GPS system that tells him exactly how far off the ground he is.

^ the rad alt would be more effective for that (not saying that coalition GPS systems aren't accurate tho. as slow as the the harrier is compared to other jets, still an amazing machine.

GPS does shit for height.... probably a ground proximity radar.

tornadoes have terrain following radar so just dial in 12 feet and a constant heading sit back and relax?

intake cowlings on tornados are alot more square, definitely a harrier, the honeywell apn194 rad alt (old crap but is one of the best/most reliable) in that thing has a limit bug to set altitude limits, so entirely possible, or the pilot just has brass balls and the hands of a surgeon hands lol also entirely possible.
