nice, I wonder if the SRT was modded further to perform like that, other wise the only explaination was, the SRT reacted much much quicker and that is all it will take to win 1/4 mile, however if it was top speed, I dont think the SRT has a chance =]

No doubt, The SRT-4 Will not be able to keep up on the highway.....So keep it in the city. I wonder if the Viper seen that comming?

no kidding...the reaction time difference looked like 0.1sec so reaction time wasn't a factor. I still find it impressive

The Neon runs close to 15 second 1/4s. It must've been totally modified, and the Viper driver is probably not a very good driver...

SRT4 does a 12.6 from factory? doubt it, it's got slicks atleast.

they should run 14 stock at around 14 psi i think. Mopar offers a kit for it however that is covered by warranty it ups the power to around 300 i am told by a friend at chrysler. They have them in there now and i saw one driving around the other day and the thing sounded mean i must say. Pretty nice car for a domestic (no offence i just dont like domestics my self) needs lsd though.

comes with Quaifie LSD next year, and maybe even this year for canadian models

Stop spreading false info. There are tons of relevant post regarding the SRT4 - USE "SEARCH"

The Canadian and US models are a little different.
LSD standard (Quaife)
Higher Flow Injectors (stage 1)
and a few more goodies :)
(the Canadian models produces more HP and lbs/ft)

US model:
LSD now Standard (Quaife)

yeah and it was probably cold that day so the turbo created more hp, or the driver was a light girl so the weight was lower, or maybe the new neons are fast and with a about 400-500US in mods and a good driver they can beat vipers...Im going with the latter of the three probabilities..
