Anyone know what all the smoke or dust is coming from in the East?

I thought Calgary didn't get Easterly winds, pretty sure whatever's hitting us is coming from the South.

it's the wind. when it's windy, dust and shit get picked up and blow around.

most of is probably coming from my neighborhood. Chaparal has alot of construction behind it in Walden and they always have a ton of dirt at the dump here too which was just blowing insane amounts of dust into the sky. Me and my gf were coming home from the lake and we could see the cloud of dust coming off that area from the lake.

Might explain a bit maybe.

damnit.. my car is dirty as fuck now. it was like lightly showering or something in the afternoon and all the dust and dirt blew on my car now it looks like shit

there is a massive mound of dirt on airside by the airport and considering how dry the past couple days has been im gonna assume its from there. my work is right beside the airport and we had to stop working cause u couldnt see 1 foot infront of you from the dust storm
