hey people of beyond so right now i drive 96 integra rs.... pretty slow and in about 5 months or so i plan on buying the soarer or sc300/400 and cant decide which one. so far i am leaning toward a lhd drive car but at the same time want a turbo.
so here are my choices i set out and just tell me wat u think and some good suggestions.

-- buy a 92 soarer wit the 1jz and modfy that, or a 2jzgte swap.

--buy a sc400 with the v8 and turbo it.

--buy a sc300 and do the 2jzgte swap.:) :D

so far ive done some research and ive realized that the swap is very expensive and was wondering which one would be more realistic for me, im willing to spend no more than 7g on the car and up to 10g or more on the car withing the next year and a half.

hopefully the third choice works out haha.

thanks...

Dont bother with the SC400 turbo, its too expensive and far too complicated to do reasonably, and especially in your price range.

I would buy a 92 soarer which comes with the 2JZ, import a very clean one or buy one locally which has had all of its obligitory JDM junk work done to it!

SC300's are very hard to find locally, you would have to get one from the states, if you bought one that was in good shape it would cost you around 8 all told, which leaves you with about 2k to do the 2JZ swap. I suppose that is an option.

^ haha you picked the only option that Neil said was a bad one.

Don't get me wrong tho, turbo V8 would still be badass.

lol, Turbo V8 would be badass, but I think the SC route is more common with 1JZ', check out some of the Australian Soarer websites and Clublexus.com to see if they might be able to help you out there.

the v8 is extremely hard to turbo/supercharge for reason I can't remember, soarerworld/soarercentral has the info

v8 have nicer interior and a few options that the 1jz does not
