This is from the Canadian Black Book web site, which is the wholesale price, private selling price should be around $ 2,000 more and retail price from a dealership should be around $3,000 more.
However, that is just a guideline.:)

" Year Make Model Series Body Style
1995 ACURA INTEGRA N/A 4D SEDAN LS

Based on the kilometers entered 106,000km

you wont find a 95 tef for 6500 unless it has no motor. 90 - 91 are still 5000 in decent shape. Cant go by the book only dealers can get away with that when people are desperate for a trade in.

Exactly. Black book is more like an insult. The used market is so inflated that in some instances you would be shot when offering someone black book.

I think you paid a fair price for it. The car has low clicks and its a 1995, but it's auto, and that usually decreases the value for an integra. I think somewhere between 9500-10,500 is appropriate for a car like that, considering the condition of the body/interior.

i always thought that autos bring the value of the car up...not in the "i want to go fast" world, but in the real world it does. If there is an option on trannys for a car, the auto usually comes as an option. Also a lot of people here don't know and don't want to be bothered to learn to drive stick, therefor bringing the retail value of MTXs lower than ATXs, so i dont know where you are coming up with that. Also you have to remember how over priced imports are to begin with....errrrr...i mean how well they hold their value

Agreed on all points made. Auto trannys bring the value of the car UP, not down. And imports for sure are overpriced, a.k.a. hold their re-sale value

Most of the time an automatic is highly valued, and it tends to reflect in price.

However, since the Integra is geared towards a certain age group, and this group prefers 5spd. I've owned the car for four years, and i've seen a lot of integras in this time. I've rarely ever seen a preference for the auto version over the 5spd version.

yeah, when you buy most cars, auto is an option, and thus you have to pay extra cash to get it.
hence, the car bought brand new as an auto is likely to be more valuable at the instance and in the long run by textbook theory.
by this theory you should be re-selling the auto version of the exact same car for more money.
however, when people's taste's and values towards a car come into play, then it's totally different.
it's true, in reality, most people looking for an integra want a manual transmission. MAYBE due to the fact that your integra is a 4 door, auto might appeal to someone who is looking for a more family oriented/sedan-like vehicle.
how much a car is worth in reality, truly depends on what kind of car it is and who wants to buy it.

there are always the people that are just too damn lazy to learn to drive stick, especially chicks. I can see a lot of younger girls going for tegs and wanting autos
