Deep House music in Calgary?

Where to go for deep house music? Especially on weekends...I'm talking stuff that Carey Chang used to play...stuff they used to play in the small rooms at the Mynt (remember the live sax and bongo drum players?) and at the no name lounge on 17th Ave.....??

Right now, nothing... Cherry lounge was good for the occasional friday/sat set. Rice had something about to start - that then didn't...

My Sanyo internet radio get some kickass Deep house :) 24/7/365...

the red room? next to the mcdicks? was it closed because of the fire next door? that was a good little pre drink place.

why dont you goto Cary's lounge/club w/e.. habitat, weekends there are sometimes live bongo drums, saxophone etc good place if you're going for the music aspect.

^ nice, how's the crowd though, I'm turning 29 so I'm looking for more the young professional crowd...definitely gonna check out Habitat on my birthday though...
