Any preferred day for drafting?
I'd rather not draft too early, but I also have two drafts on Sunday the 27th, and I'm not sure if anybody wants to draft on a Friday or Saturday night.

Any preference otherwise? If most people are okay with the draft day as is, I'll probably leave it.

I like it a lot better than the head-to-head or roto.

You get a certain amount of points based on G/A/PIM/+-/W/GAA/SO etc. But it isn't based on 1st/2nd/3rd in categories like roto.

Usually it is like 5 points goal, 3 points assist, 10 points goalie win, etc.

It is a much better system, last year was the first year yahoo did it.

It also factors out the guys who fail to manage their roster and tank. They don't even matter anymore, and won't skew the standings for everyone else.

Already set it up. Everyone that was in last year should have gotten an email, other than the 2 guys who tanked and stopped playing. Please post your feedback on the points system, I just roughly set it up.

Once the 10 OG's sign up or not, the remaining spots will be posted here.

This is the 4th season, so we have a great core of people who keep coming back, and it makes it pretty competitive.

Please only sign up if you can commit for the full season.

And please make your team name your USER NAME on here.

It will be a points based pool, not head-to-head or roto.

i just started a new keepers pool.. counts only G, A, Goalie wins and Goalie SO.

we are all in west coast area,, vancouver calgary etc.. just need couple more guys to start.. have a look at the leaque rules at this link n reply to me.

its a leaque for friends..but short couple more guys. so welcome anyone who is friendly(1st 2 guys) we r friendly n fun people who loves hockey n brag our sucess in running our own team.

Found this out the hard way as well... it seems that you can only set your roster at the beginning of the week for the whole week.

For example... go to Monday Oct 5 and you'll see you can set your lines.... but go to Tuesday Oct 6 and you'll see the option is gone.

This means that on a given night you'll probably have a bunch of players on your bench that will be playing even though you have empty spots for them. I guess this means you have to research each teams schedule for the week and play players that play the most often during the week.

It's stupid as hell, i wonder if it's a option to do daily roster changes instead of weekly. :thumbsdow

Ummm why don't we change it to daily? Not everyone can log onto this every single day to make sure they change their players.

Rant: Why would people sign up to this hockey pool if they on't even pay attention to the team they have. We should see who didn't actually participate but joined and make sure they aren't in the pool next year..
