A really good friend of mine has a caviler and he cigerette lighter stopped working a few weeks ago. Is this a common problem or is she just one of the "lucky" ones?

Check with a dealer, or go online to see if there was a factory recall on it. Then check to see if it's covered under warranty :thumbsup:

My friends Cavalier did that I think. Her's was a '99 coupe. Such a POS! I can't even remember how many different things went wrong with that car. Thank-god it was leased...now she's cruising around in a black 02 RSX Type S:drool:

No this means no more radar detector for her, and she really does need it. I told her to call the dealership but she hates them and gets all moody about calling them..... a true girl :rofl:

check the fuses

Thats what I did this weekend, the fuses seem to be fine. I think she might just take it to the dealership.
