Hey guys, I think I want to go to a parkade tonight and take some shots of my car. I haven't gotten savvy enough to use the manual settings with my camera yet (Nikon D50), but any tips on what sort of settings i'd like to use to make the pictures turn out good? It will be lit with bright lights, and I'd like shots with my headlights on and stuff like that. What sort of ISO levels and aperture settings can I try out? Thanks.

night time - iso100 always, turn IS or VR off if you have that on ur lens

as for aperture, it depends on how you want your shot...

and you can't escape the need for a tripod. it'd b useful to have a shutter release cable and to use the mirror-lockup function in ur camera

i'm not sure how to reduce the glare of the headlights.... ND filters? HDR? i'll let someone more knowledgeable have at it

Experimenting is the only way you are going to learn, rather than people listing settings off.
