I heard that they already started laying the foundation on the Glendeer circle location :dunno:. An EVO would be my first choice if i were to sell my Lude.

Not if they pull all the computerized goodies from it, as was one of the rumors. Dunno, just can't get excited about mitsu reliability :D

I also heard they were building at least one dealer, I can't remember what current Calgary dealer it was that was getting the go-ahead....

RE: the Lancer, I hear that it will be rated at 265 hp and the the electronic differentials will be switched to mechanical diffs, which sux.

Rumored price is around 40-45 grand Canadian $
For comparison, the Subaru WRX is around the high 30's with some options and the WRX STi will be "low 40's".

man, if they take away the ability to change the differential electronically depending what surface you're driving on you would be losing one of the best features of the EVO VII

I think the RSX and Celica, GTI and SVT focus are superior machines.

Though my first choice in this class might be an 03 tiburon or 02 SE-R SpecV (not really the same class, but a little cheaper and much more practical) and a sport bike

What?? You're kidding. Like the OZ edition in the US?? All that has is a set of 16" OZ rims, a OZ Rally badge, and a skirt kit.

Hey Guys. First post on this board even though I have been lurking for some time now. Some of you may know/remember me from ABCars.

Well there were rumours flying around Regina about a Mitsubishi dealership but when the list was released a few weeks ago Regina wasn't on it.

Well yesterday at the Exibition park here in Regina, out of nowhere there were a few truckloads of new Mitsi's being unloaded. We are one of 8 markets to get the first shipment of Mitsis in Canada. They open at this temporary location on Tuesday of next week.

As for the EVO's. Comming from a friend that works for the auto group that is running the new dealership. The evo is comming to Canada depending on response in the states. Apparantly there are safety issues. I guess something along the same line as MRS not being salable in Canada.

Err, I mean the Lancer OZ, not the EVO OZ. Sorry :)

I believe the Lancer OZ is the exact same as the 2002 Lancer listed on the Mistu Canada page. (Click here (http://www.mitsucars.ca/lancer.html) for more info).

So what are the 7 other sites then? I find it odd they would ship cars to a place that doesn't even have a dealership yet?? :dunno:
