It's more like 12.1/8 in my experience. I average around 10.5 combined with a light foot. Close to 12 combined with a heavy foot. Average 7.5-8 @ 110km/h on highways.

Official number is around 12.5/8.4.

And don't trust the on-board fuel consumption meter, after 7 years, mine is off by about 10% comparing to calculating at refuel.

Not wanting to be off topic but I can verify the OP's mileage.

I get 7.5-8 L/100km on the highway and 9.5-10.2 in the city. I've never had below 11, even with somewhat of a heavy foot. That's all calculated.

Some mods will help. I should still be able to drop it to about 6.7 on the highway.

They're decent grocery getters for the money. Good luck with the sale.

I have roughly the same numbers for my 2002 maxima.

Interesting discussion.

Mileage I quoted was actually based on my wife filling ~50L and getting 550kms+ per tank in the city.

Thanks for the bumps, car is SOLD.
