I'm just wondering if it's possible to use any remote for an Avital alarm/ starter system.
Long story short, someone tried to break into my bro's jeep a while back an munted up the door lock and they tried to start it but couldn't. anyway, the remote was lost and we've just been using the key, but are unsure if a remote would actually work.
First question is, could any remote be used and simply programmed or does it have to be from Avital?
Secondly, if I do have to usean Avital remote, who sells these things or does anyone have one for sale?
