Anyone know where to get a horn that isn't common sounding? Like a train horn or something different?

Well I don't mean just a train horn, preferably something cheap that sounds different then the general stock horn.

Pretty sure you can get one of those RV 'La Cucaracha' horns at Canadian Tire.

Something loud that says "fuck you" when the bastard cuts you off. There a sound clip for that boat horn?

^^^ I think the ebay horn is a copy of a Hella or Wolo air horn.

Sound sample, 5th one down looks similar:

Also I think a horn that isn't overly common is a semi truck horn, if you hear that, you know you fucked up.

THIS: Semi Air Horn (http://www.superiorhorns.com/wolo-horns/the-chief-chrome-truck-air-horn.html)

If you hit up the junkyard, grab the horn out of the oldest Cadillac you can find, preferably something from the early 70's. Those sound awesome. Then wire it up through a relay and thick wire, so it'll get lots of juice when you hit the switch.

some of those clips are really funny.

For something quieter the old Benz's had a real unique sound.

Hey Five, I'm looking for a louder horn than what I have.

Yesterday, this idiotic woman almost drove into the side of me, and she couldn't hear my horn....

I want to replace my current horns. Do you have any experience?

^^^ I installed these Hella Supertones disc-type horns in my one of my cars. Pretty easy to retrofit because they're about the same size as the factory horns and you can use the factory wiring if it's robust enough. If not, use the factory wiring as a relay trigger; a decent quality horn kit usually includes a relay.

They're an older version of these:

I also bought a set of Hella air horns for another car that haven't yet been installed.

With air horns, you need more room to mount the compressor and run the air line. The horns also take up more space and should be pointed forward for the best result. Most modern cars don't have enough space for forward-facing mounting so aiming them down is the next best method.

Comparing the two, the disc-type horns have a kind of annoying sound, which isn't always a bad thing. The air horns definitely sound better depending on the frequencies of the two horns. I bought both sets of horns on ebay.

Can't go wrong with either type. It's just a matter of sound preference and whether or not you have the room to mount them. If you want loud, install new horns and keep your factory horns operational. You are welcome to drop by and listen to them.

I ended up getting this hitler horn which is pretty loud. Still gotta wire it in, since the factory wiring is screwed
