I do a lot of work that requires me to leave my vehicle on the road, and with winter coming up, I'd like to know if there are any sorts of restrictions on auxillary lighting for my vehicle. I'm most interested in an amber traffic/lightbar, and possibly other forms of lighting to make my vehicle more visible when I'm parked, especially at night. What are some laws regarding this? I'd like to get some strobes and an LED lightbar set up, but if I need some sort of special permits, I guess I'll have to go that route before purchasing anything. Any knowledge and advice would be appreciated :)

If you pinky-swear to only use it while doing your job, you can have one.
