My aftermarket speakers seem to have a lot of static when I use my radio, in my 2001 Prelude.
Static does not occur when I use the CD player however. I've double checked the connections and the radio plug.

Before this setup went into my Prelude, I had the HU and speakers in my Civic and never had any static.

Factory amp is not connected. Speakers are directly connected to the speaker signal +-, on the rear harness in the trunk.

how many wires were in the factory rear speaker plugs. it may have a system called acoustic feedback, which can cause some odd problems. if it had four wires in the factory plug, just run new lines from the rear speakers directly to the deck.

Factory plug has 4 wire, but that's after going thru the acoustic feedback. But I'm not wiring my speakers thru the acoustic feedback/factory amp. Directly to the wiring harness to the deck.
