I'm also looking for local suppliers of security cables - namely a rg59 and 18 gauge dc power cable combo (1000 ft or 500 ft boxes). Eecol can grab some but they don't stock in Calgary.

rg6 is better than rg59 and you can get that anywhere. home depot, the source, etc.

I need the siamesed cable with both in the same sleeve like this. http://cache1.smarthome.com/images/85292.jpg

I haven't seen that stuff at Home Depot or Rona, but maybe they were just out of stock.

sorry I read it as you need 2 seperate cables, not a combo. nevermind then.

try monoprice.com ?

can you get away with running a RG6 cable with an 18/2 for power beside it? Then you wont have to special order that cable... Just a thought

If it was my place, I'd do them separaretly... but I'm renovating a building and I'm just trying to it make it look more professional instead of newbie-ish (like I am. :) )
