Description : Winter is inevitable! Be smart and invest into a winter beater to save your summer/more expensive car from our harsh Calgary winter climate and roads.
This car has served me well for the past 2 years throughout winters and some summer driving, highway type driving during school and when i got a job, excellent A to B vehicle, 520km/tank +/-10kms, the heating system is great during winter, blows HOT! just leave it on full defrost at night and autostart it in the morning!
Extras for winter and others :
-1 season 2x Toyo Observe GO2s
-1 season 2x Nexen Eurowin
-Autostarter, works great, you can program it to your needs somewhat but it starts when asked to from the comfort of your warm house, this past winter it worked flawlessly during those -30 ish nights.
-functional factory block heater!
-Older mp3 capable deck if that even matters
-will include factory hubcaps as well
Recent Maintenance in the past 6 months :
-Clutch assy replaced with aftermarket (not performance)
-New rear pads and rotors
-New front pads and resurfaced front rotors
-BMC replaced with overhauled oem unit from autovalue, brakes bled after of course.
-Oil and filter change Sept 12/09
Bad and stuff i would like to disclose(may be detrimental to my sale but i believe in proper disclosure from what i've found) :
-Rusty, not extreme, but typical rear panel honda rust and a bit more, but it's a winter beater! Car was originally from Manitoba iirc so it was going to happen lol
-R/H steering boot is cut, does not leak past seals but it is showing the actuator/shaft, a new boot should fix the problem.
-Suspension has a creaking/ whining noise sometimes cornering (r/h side i think), balljoints look to be in serviceable condition, not sure what it is, perhaps the r/h strut is calling it quits or sway bar bushings.
-Oil pressure switch is leaking, however that is the only leak i can find after cleaning it after each oil change a subsequently looking underneath every now and then after.
-There is a ricer exhaust that was half-assed by the previous owner, hanging a little low, not bad but it bothers me lol
-Windshield also half assed from previous replacement, it doesn't obstruct drivers vision whatsoever.
This engine is amazing, does not blow blue//burnt oil, been nothing but a tank for me during the past year or so at my new job (chinook to springbank airport, calaway park for reference, back and forth everyday). Winter ready and giving it a good interior clean this weekend.
Looking for a somewhat speedy sale so price is OBO!
