So I am not too sure if it deems itself a spotted thread, but its the first time I have seen one on the street.

Not toally sure its worth a spotting, but hey. Whats the worst that could happen?
To add: There was a stock v6 one at the track on friday.
the guy ran low 15's iirc.

I've seen a few on the roads.
I'll admit though, I drove by one yesterday and did a double take... mostly because I saw an unfamiliar looking sports car. I'll admit that Hyundai's done a good job, but not good enough to lure me away from something else in that segment if I were to be buying.

I've seen a few on the road too. They look look great out on the street. The Genesis sedan looks pretty good too.

Really like the look of both sedan and coupe. There is a blue coupe that I see everyday at school catches my eye every time.

Also the Genesis is a real jem from hyundai considering they gave us the accident 3 cylinder only a few years ago.

Nice looking car, first thing i would do is change out that grille and get rid of that big goofy H on the front.

Granted these are common, still nice cars.
The genesis sedan has more of an impact on me than the coupe does. Such a beautiful car in person, and you see way fewer of these than the coupe. Plus, 375hp v8:thumbsup:
Next time you're unsure if a car spotting is worthy of a spotted thread, it probably isn't. These things are everywhere now. Really nice car for the money though, and it looks a lot better in person than it does in pictures. I still prefer the styling of the G35, but I guess you get what you pay for.

I actually got rear-ended by one back in August, it was only 3 months old. It was sandwiched between a Buick Regal and my mom's Pathfinder. Surprisingly the airbags did not deploy, but they had to tow it away.
Quite sad... because it was a beautiful blue car. :(

The sedan is quite a bit different than the coupe though I also like it alot better, not quite sure why they shared the name essentially.
I went to take a look today at crowfoot, after requesting a test drive to see what it actually drives like as it was on my list of prospective next vehicles, I was informed that i should not be there to joyride and waste the salesman's f'ing time. :nut:

Fastest time I've seen is 0-60 in 5.5 from Motor Trend which is not but WRX FTW. ;) :burnout: :poosie:

They look nice, but thats about it. I test drove the GT model back in May when I was looking for a new car and it definitely does not feel like it has 300hp IMO (that was coming from a 97 540i which felt MUCH faster). Didn't like the feel of the clutch and the gearbox too.

In the end its still just a Hyundai. Those things are super cheap if you think about it. I will admit I do like the styling. Hyundai's coming along way from just a few years ago...

Wow, that is an ignorant statement.
The Genesis coupe and Sedan use the same auto transmission that is in the 135/335/535 which is probably one of the best you can get out there right now.
Doesn't really follow in the line of your "super cheap" comment.
Hyundai probably spent far less time refining their manual transmission. And for good reason, they aren't charging BMW prices.
