Is there any stores in Calgary where you can sell your fish?

Obviously I can sell them online but I was just wondering if anyone knew of any other places around Calgary that take fishes for store credit or cash or something. I haven't tried calling pet stores yet or anything.

Anyway, this is what I've got:

1 catfish
3 jack demseys
2 jaguars (mated pair) just had babies
3 plecos
2 pachu
2 oscars
1 green terror
1 unknown fish

Not too sure about that. You might have some luck with some of the private/non-corporate aquarium/fish stores, but I think most will not accept them.

How about trying Kijiji? Good place to find pets, so I would imagine it's a good place to start.

i think the riverfront aquarium buys fishes from people

any place that takes fish generally will not give you too much money. I know riverfront does not give all that much. Try calling Big Als on 32nd avenue

I think this pet store near Edmonton Trail and McKnight might buy them back? Google that street corner and do a search around for pet stores.

pisces generally doesn't from what I recall - golds out on 17th se does, and i think that shop in the basement at elbow & heritage does

Oh. My co-worker had to move recently and she called around a couple of places and I think she was able to sell her fish to Pisces. I guess I was mistaken.

alot of places wont buy back fish because of the possible risk of your fish having a disease.

Riverfront does take fish. Sure it's not a lot, but you could also trade for new ones :D

I sold a ton of fish to Pisces. I used to breed cichlids and they paid enough to support my cats food and litter... Oh wait ya it's in store credit only! Sorry other then that I have no idea
