Looking for one of these

pretty much a YB16CL-B battery. I had an energizer from wal-mart but it was garbage, spilled/leaked all the time and died after 5 months. I was quoted $150 for the Deka ETX16L from Battery World, but it seems a bit steep. Anywhere else carry motorsport batteries? I want to get a sealed, maintenance free one this time around.

I went to Battery World for my R6 battery as they had pretty reasonable prices.

Try Canadian Tire or maybe Princess Auto?

If this is for your bike, I'll offer a word of caution. From my experience you get what you pay for with batteries. I have purchased generics and rebuilts. None have lasted more than 1.5 years (note the 1 yr warranty ... doh!).

I last bought an oem Yuasa at 2x the price ($235) and it has so far lasted 3 years. no reason to think it wont make it one more season, and thats the common word in my bike circle. The more expensive oems last 3x longer.

Of course this is my opinion and my experience.

I believe odyssey makes bike batteries as well.
