It's quite simple really. McLaren/Mercedes powered cars should not go fast. So when they do, something has to be done to fix it.

Seriously though, I hate it when sports get so regulated. Why don't all the teams just use the same engine then? Why not make all the cars the same too? And get them driven by robots? Then we can finally watch an "even race"
