WTB: I second that i need a 3SGTE alternator!

i second that i need an alternator!
except my cars a 93 usdm but with the engine out of 92 JDM which alternator would i need?
ive ordered one from the parts store just for the usdm cause i wouldnt think itd be different but the bracket didnt line up it was like 5mm to short
anyone have one that would work?

I got my replacement at Alternator and Starter Depot, on Barlow this morning.

Funny thing is that I kept reading about how 70 amp and 100 amp ones were non-interchangeable because of the bracket, but when I brought my core in, the guy tells me I HAVE the 100 amp one (even though I don't have power steering).

He didn't have any 100 amp ones in stock, so I took my chances with the 70 amp, and it fit right in. :dunno:

Anyways, he has a few 70 amp ones, and depending how fast he rebuilds my core 100 amp one, he'll have that one as well now. Bring yours in and match the bolt hole distance.
