Does he have any interior shots? Looks like a good investment with the housing market picking up again...

^ Yeah, looks great from the outside, but how are the units from the inside?

uhh...20 pics in the listing and not a single snapshot of the inside? Why is one selling for 10k more than the others?

You'll probably have to completely re-do the interior :D

They all say handyman special - so I'm guessing the insides are questionable at best.

Still - that's one hell of a price for the location! Man I wish I was in a slightly better financial place.... :)

Partial city view on the 3rd floor?

$120K/unit + at least $50K in reno's.

It's decent for sure but I wouldn't want to live there. I bet some real sketchy people live in that building. :D

Looks like they are probably half completed and were a condo conversion or renovation project that went under.

A good number of the foreclosures in Calgary are unfinished condo conversion projects.

These are all foreclosures, first batch that sold were gutted for the most part, but price was right. Sure got lots of showings. People in the building mentioned it has a bed bug and cockroach problem and have been sprayed a couple times already. Seemed to be a pipe burst and flood problem at one point as well. But price is right and location is ideal, especially with the city view.

Cockroaches? are you on crack?

crazy that they all sold over list price.. looks like there were some bidding wars...

Jordan do you have any interior shots at all?

Just curious how much work actually needs to be done

If you ask people from the 7 units in the building, they will show you the bills they were assessed for the bug sprays. There are 30-ish units in the building in total, so most are vacant. In terms of work, most of the first bunch were gutted to their studs (ie. No kitchens, flooring, bathrooms, drywall). The more expensive ones look more intact with most of the walls and fixtures intact. Hallways have been done, exterior looks ok, so it is just work within the units. There is a lot of interest in the units due to the price.
