sorry just wondering, but why would someone want to buy a gift certificate from you for the exact same price as what the certificate is for? They could just spend the cash they are gonna pay you on the item/service...... :dunno:

you're missing the point here... No one is going to go buy a 50$ gift-card from you just to go spend 50$ at the store. They could save a trip by going to the store directly, and not have to deal with only spending the money at the one store.

The typical standard is to lower the asking price because no one is going to bid higher...
