Thursday Night Clubbing

A friend is in town from Michigan and he asked me where the 'good' clubs in Calgary are on a Thursday night. I haven't been out on a Thursday night in awhile; is Cowboys still the place to be? Or has it been replaced with another 'it' bar?

Cowboys I'd guess. But ever since the new liqour laws, they canned the 25C draft. I think you have to buy pitchers now, but it's still cheap.

^^ I think they are $8, but still cheap. Its cup size thursdays... C's are triples, B's doubles and A's singles. Cowboys still has 75c draft, which is still dirt cheap. As far as clubs go, Vinyl is pretty bumpin any night you go.

I heard vinyl has 3$ drinks on thursdays and sundays. I don't know about thursdays but i've been there on a sunday at the last long weekend and it was fun.

Roadhouse is the place to go on Thursday, it's ladies night so don't arrive until 11pm when all the male strippers go home. From then on it's pretty packed.

Being Serious, cheap drinks aren't the only deciding factor but they have a large influence. :thumbsup:

While pre gaming is a MUST DO, if i don't drink at the bar it is no fun. I need a constant stream of liquor to keep me fueled for then night lol.

Well you can't equate how good a place is by how expensive the drinks are. i.e. BLVD.

Full bar=good times NOT if it's all dudes. i.e. BLVD

It's all about the crowd. The ratio has to be solid. The best is when the gf brings out her entourage of ladies, my buddies love that hahaha

First stop was Cowboys. It was lame! Probably like 30 people there, and that's a generous guess.

Then we went to Vinyl and it was a much better place. It was my first time there and it's pretty cool. The floors are disgusting though. :barf:
