Could anyone sharpen this up with photoshop?
I'm thinking of getting it printed to put up in my room

The angles are good, but the exposure and lighting leave more to be desired. Great job for a new photographer though!

Ha Ha, thanks guys. Much appreciated.

Any suggestions from the big photography buffs?

The last shot is nice, good posture and position on the bike. But like said above, try some different exposure settings to really grab the right amount of lighting.

Play with your ISO as well, shutter speeds and such. Some of your shots have the background developed leaving the bike dark and not fully defined (which is why you want the "poster" photo sharpened). Once those are dialed in, the bike will come alive and the background will only accent it.

;) good luck!

Here is my attempt at photoshopping.

Thanks for the tips jdm and pollywog.

I'm still trying to decide if they look too photoshopped or noticeably changed. :dunno:

You actually did a very good improvement with this particular shop. The only thing I might adjust is the red saturation as it seems a little high. The white balance is a little askew too, but due to the original being a bit underexposed you won't be able to do much about that without darkening the foreground. I'm sure a lot of guys on here have got much more insightful tips, as I do not have an immense knowledge surrounding photography - just a past-time interest.

PS: Someone here will probably be able to explain how to adjust certain parts of the photo separately from others (such as sky vs pavement) but I do not possess such information.

Buy a rear seat cover and take off your back pegs. It cleans the bike up very nicely.

Nice bike! ;)

My girl rides on the back of mine all the time... You just have to swap the pegs back on when you know she's coming, takes like ten minutes. :)

It's a terrible picture, but you can see how the back end is cleaned up quite well without them.

Awesome photos, especially the one remixed by ESPhoto! Wish I had a good one of my bike for him (or her!) to touch up.

Also, +1 on the rear cowl and removing the passenger pegs. If you don't want to keep throwing them on and off, do what I did: make her buy her own damn bike.
