Over the weekend, in San Diego was the Coronodo Speed festival, and Mercedes AMG division was there with three of their AMG models allowing pretty much anyone with a license to drive them, full out. So, initially I was supposed to just ride, but the guy let me drive. So I got into the driver seat of a Mercedes Benz Sl65 AMG. And oh my god. This car is just brutally amazing, and sticks to the road like no other, it was just insane... I smiled for the next hour...

They also had the 2010 Camaro's out to test... They didn't spark my interest as much!

So yeah, if you ever get a chance to drive the SL65 AMG... GO FOR IT!

Pretty sweet experience :thumbsup:, the most exciting car I've driven so far is a 09 GTR, the SL would of been a blast then

Is it just me, but does the car seem to move closer to the ground when you corner hard, like it lowers itself..?

im pretty sure SL65 is twin turbo... unless TT means something else

FAIL!

SL65 is twin turbo - biturbo to be exact.

SL63 is not twin turbo, in fact not even turboed nor V12, don't confuse the two.

Its true, SL65 is twin turbo. Has been for the last few years (since '03 maybe?), along with the S65 sedan.
