I just got my PAL for restricted and non restricted. I was wondering if anyone here is into target shooting, hunting etc,, or if theres some other Canadian forums you can steer me to.

Yeah, CGN is about the biggest one. There are some nutballs on there though, kind of like here, haha :)

Most of the guys are really helpful. I got in to skeet/trap shooting over the summer and just picked up an Remington 1100 from a guy on CGN. Should come in the mail this week :D

what gauge are you shooting? I mostly shoot 20g and 410

12. I like the 20's but I have no reloading gear so the shells are a little on the pricey side for a student budget. I can barely afford it as it is.

I have a nice assortment of chokes so I can handle just about anything, and I find that the 1100 recoil is so light that I can do 5 rounds easily before I feel any discomfort.

I do quite a bit of skeet shooting, and gofer extermination (on the ranch). Getting my PAL this month, getting my rifle over the winter and will try for a deer next year.
