Highspeed chase in Deerfoot

Friend told me there is a high speed chase going on in deerfoot.. all i know, but keep your heads up in news.

As far as I know, CPS and Sheriffs are not allowed to pursue someone in a high speed chase, only RCMP.

I've seen the Calgary Police Service in pursuit. I don't know if it qualifies as 'high speed' but the guy blew by me pretty quickly, probably like 90-100km on a 50km road. :dunno:

The weird thing was that all the police cars (3 unmarked, 3 cruisers, 3 vans) didn't have their sirens or lights on.

Hawcs 2 kept circling though.

lol, well the Deerfoot did get "dug up" so technicially you are driving "in" between a big hill.

Fuck, last night I went to bed. At around 10:20PM, hawcs came FLYING over my fucking house.

Everything was rumbling, it was sooo loud... And it literally flew by.

Why did you emphasize "FLYING" ? What else would it be doing? Strolling? walking? sauntering?

I've had hawcs fly over my house and hardly heard a thing :dunno:

You cant even hear HAWCS flying until it is directly above you, and even then it isn't all that loud.

Well i'm actually pretty sure they can either be normal sounding or go into a "quiet" mode where they have a more conservative rotary-blade speed or something but obviously cant do high speeds etc.. i dunno my cousin (aspiring police officer) has been for a ride or two in it and he was telling me about it. Bad ass chopper though for sure. sometimes its like you can feel it not hear it haha..
