Is there one? My oil pan is 2 inches of the ground and my skid plate is about one inch, now. I cant clear those jacks that they usually have in the middle of the hoists in alignment shops.

Please help me out i really need to find a shop like that before it gets to cold!

Thanks

Try Harper's Tire. My lowered z06 was just barely able to eek over their bridge jack in their pit bay.

Oil pan 2'' from ground is just asking for engine failure, imho.

Same boat as you...just get 2 planks of 2x4x10 and cut it into 3 pieces each.

I would PM RZRSHARP SVX, he does our alignments here at Lexus. Our alignment rack is a drive on one with open space in the middle so you could get on it for sure.

Okay, I'm sorry, but seriously, that's pretty stupid - you're begging for engine failure driving that around on anything but a flat track.

Seriously? You chopped up a street sign for a skidplate?

pizdets17 -I'm not sure how much the service department charges. I Imagine $120-180, whatever the normal going rate is.

And here I thought Hollie's oil pan was low...

With the amount of stuff I have scrapped and hit...I don't have ANY clue how you drive around anywhere...Plus I have a feeling your "skid plate" won't do shit against anything you will encounter...

Dumbest thing I've seen so far today. The dip in Memorial drive near the zoo is enough to gut your engine. WTF is this car for?

WOW wtf, that's low as hell.

Shit, I'm not even close to being that low. I'm guessing any dip, bump, hell, even a rock, can eat you up.

i just wanna seee a pic of it.... your car must ride like a go kart, and your suspension must have NO give to it.

misha

not at all, it used to be like that before i raised it about an inch. My actual oil pan was as low as the skid plate right now.

Anyways, have any of you ever seen a lowered vw? A mark2, i got nothing on them...

Hahah that car is hella sick. I think you're going to have trouble driving in Calgary being that low, I'm about 4-6" off the ground and I've killed the car.

here - an ef9 with some good ground clearance shots...

I have owned a b16'd ef, i have buddies with 1st and 2nd gen b16'd crxs, my sisters bf has an ef with tein coilovers and steelies, b16 as well - not that low. It wasn't that low when his old 4 -1 header ran under his oilpan.

Not all b series ef chassis cars have the oilpan 1-2" off the ground...

sick car none-the-less

ps. i drove my friends ef9 this summe rand his be sires wasnt as low as mine. Its a factory fit, but it also had plenty of clearance for the alternator pulley, so the body itself is different but once you put a B into a dunked USDM chassi you will be as low as me.

I respect that it's your car and that's what you like but I don't understand. There's lowered for performance and then lowered for show and while it's your choice I just don't understand the mentality. Otherwise it's a clean car.

it still performs alright i got all the bars too..

that came out wrong.

i guess im saying that no matte rwhat you do B series will hang low in a EF.

Anyways, looks liek we've covered everything here so unless you can point out another alignment shop for me, im over the discussion of my car.

I drove this thing at that ride hight for past 5 years all over Canada, i build it and i love it, later.

Love the Volks, and JDM front end... That car is damn low too... I have similar ground clearance issues with my accord, but it's probably closer to 3-4" to my crossmember/oilpan I would imagine.
