it only has the sti intake on the hood, and its lacking the giantic spoiler or any sti badging so... :dunno:

Well that hood scoop is really the only way to define a STi from a WRX externally as far as I know. But that ginormous hood scoop is non functional anyways since it now has a FMIC.

That hood scoop is interchangable on the '04 WRX's, so you could fool some ppl like that. :D

well the evo is better than a fake sti, but at least it looks hot> im kinda dissapointed about the lack of sti wing. that aeronautical tail fin has really grown on me. I truly like it.

really? i dunno, i for one hate it. it looks like a ridiculous cut out box. but i love the sti hood scoop and the new 04 look much better than the old "turtle look".

yeah, thats just regular wrx. lots of exterior mods so its hard to tell. first thing i look for on the real sti is the brembo brakes. sti hoodscoop is a popular mod for the new wrx so its hard to tell from looking at it.

haha, the white evo beside it looks better.

I've met one of the principles of VividRacing when he dropped by AVS to pick up an STi intercooler for a customer. Nice guy, awesome to chat with, knows his stuff, and had an very nice S4. I've seen some of their other work and was quite impressed.

Not a huge fan of the labelled intercooler but other than that it looks damn nice (and FAST!)

Really? That's surprising. All I've ever read about them is negative comments about how they run their shop online. But they do carry a lot of hard to get stuff though.

Yeah, the guy I talked said that they're trying to gain a large presence online and hence all the time he spends on the site. :dunno: I've seen some pretty nice customer vehicles come out of their hands, but they are definitely street oriented unlike AVS. I also haven't had the chance to inspect their work up close. Funny thing is, a lot of that hard to get stuff came from AVS in terms of Subaru parts, haha. The extent of my experience with them is limited, but it was positive nonetheless. They were also working on a 2JZ-GTE project for an IS300...I haven't heard anything of it so who knows.

I saw both those cars in person....very very nice...vivid's lancer is pretty amazing! But they were nothing compared to all the r34's that were at SEMA!!!! :)
