I snapped this a long time ago but just came across it today... says it was taken Oct9, 2008. Sorry about the size, mods pls resize it. I believe there were 2 other vehicles involved in the collision that were not in the photo.

Was this on Glenmore Trail, just east of the Hwy 8 turnoff?

I recall seeing an orange GTi in an accident like that last year.

Poor CRV. From the picture, it does look like the two VWs were following each other mighty close and at high speeds too.

Wow, I wouldn't imagine that standing on the hood of a car with a SUV is too safe...

I have a picture of the same accident on my old cell phone. It was on Eastbound Glenmore just after the Highway 8 intersection. When I went by the scene emergency services had not arrived yet and there was a middle aged asian female still sitting in the driver seat of the CRV. The other people were trying to help her get out.
